Rick and Morty is one of the best shows on television at the moment, and most likely the number 1 animated show right now. This brilliant masterpiece that fuses cold, hard truths, hot button issues, and hilarious commentary, adds a splash of whatever Rick is drinking, and sprinkles some comedic jokes over the top. Rick and Morty currently airs Sundays at 11:30.

If you want to figure out exactly what episode something happened in, when a certain episode aired, watch the highlights of the season, read some reviews about particular episodes, or refresh your memory of what happened in past seasons of Rick and Morty, this is the page for you! Since some of the episodes are available for free on Adult Swim, I'll include a link to stream the Rick and Morty episode for free. Rick and Morty Episode 1: Pilot

Episode 1 Summary

RA sociopathic scientist drags his innocent grandson on dangerous inter-dimensional adventures.

Rick drags Morty out of bed to show him a neutrino bomb and has him cut class to acquire Mega Seeds. The latter leads to them running past interdimensional customs smuggling the seeds up Morty's butt, and leaving numerous dead bodies in their wake. Using some clever thinking and a side effect of the seeds, Rick convinces Beth and Jerry to not move him into a nursing home. Now, it's just going to be Rick and Morty and their adventures.

Rick and Morty Episode 2: Lawnmower Dog

Episode 2 Summary

Rick helps Jerry out with the dog, broh. Don't even trip about this episode, because they also incept Goldenfold.

Rick gives Morty's dog, Snuffles, a helmet making him super intelligent. Then, Rick and Morty enter Goldenfold's dream, then Ms. Pancakes, then a centaur, then Scary Terry (who can travel through dreams), then the creepy little girl (dream bedrock), then Terry who they help ease up on himself. In return, Terry helps his fellow dawgs follow a linear progression back to reality. While they were gone, Snowball had manufactured robot suits for fellow dogs and started enslaving the human race. Rick then incepts Snuffles into taking all dogs to a new world.

Rick and Morty Episode 3: Anatomy Park

Episode 3 Summary

On a special Christmas episode, Rick and Morty try to save the life of a homeless man. Meanwhile, Jerry's parents visit and the family bonds.

Morty goes inside Ruben to visit Anatomy Park. Meanwhile Jerry spends time with his family, his parents and his mother's new lover, Jacob. Morty meets up with Dr. Xenon Bloom, Poncho, Roger, and Annie. They travel through the park running from all of the diseases that have escaped. When they are just about to escape the body, Poncho betrays them, but is bitten by bubonic plague and falls to his death. Also, Roger dies. On the escape pod (without Dr. Bloom, Annie and Morty make out. Rick enlarges the body to get them out. Rick starts building a new park in Ethan.

Rick and Morty Episode 4: M. Night Shaym-Aliens!

Episode 4 Summary

Rick and Morty try to get to the bottom of a mystery in this M. Night Shamyaloin style twistaroony of an episode!

Rick, Morty, and Jerry are in a simulation on an alien spaceship run by Sigerian scammers who want concentrated dark matter. Rick and Morty strip down so as not to be tracked. Eventually, they escape the simulation and are chased through the spaceship by the aliens. As they are leaving the spaceship, Rick realizes he was still in a simulation, and gives them the wrong recipe for concentrated dark matter resulting in their spaceship exploding.

Rick and Morty Episode 5: Meeseeks and Destroy

Episode 5 Summary

Rick provides the family with a solution to their problems, freeing him up to go on an adventure led by Morty. Sounds good, better record this one, broh!

The episode begins with Morty killing clones of his parents. Angry that this was traumatizing, Morty convinces Rick to let him plan the next adventure. They make a wager: if it's boring and they bail, Morty can't bitch about future adventures and he has to do Rick's laundry for a month; if it isn't Morty can plan every tenth adventure. To buy them some time, Rick gives the family a Meeseeks box to buy some time. Summer wants to be more popular, Beth wants to be more of a woman, and Jerry wants to take two strokes off his golf game. This premise leads to a criminal trial for the murder of a giant, the creation, agonizing life, and death of countless Meeseeks, Rick murdering Morty's rapist, and Beth seemingly resolving the doubts about her marriage.

Rick and Morty Episode 6: Rick Potion #9

Episode 6 Summary

Rick helps Morty win over the girl of his dreams in this one, broh.

Morty wants Jessica so he demands Rick helps him out by giving him a love potion. Unfortunately, everybody has the flu and the potion becomes airborne. Rick uses another potion trying to neutralize the first one that turns everyone into preying mantis monsters. The whole world becomes infected. He drops another potion which turns everyone into cronenbergs. Just seconds after Rick and Morty's deaths, the duo that we had been watching, pop into their dimension, bury themselves, and take over their lives.

Rick and Morty Episode 7: Raising Gazorpazorp

Episode 7 Summary

Morty convinces Rick to buy him a sexy robot. Guess what tho? Trouble happens, dog.

Rick buys Morty a sex robot as a "souvenir". After Morty enjoys it for a bit, the robot births a half human, half Gazorpian baby. When Rick opens up a wormhole to planet Gazorpazorp, Summer is pulled through, and Rick's portal gun is destroyed. They are taken back to an all female paradise and eventually arrested once Rick farts and Summer reveals Rick isn't her slave. Luckily, Summer convinces the females to let them return. Meanwhile, Morty raises the male Gazorpian, Morty Jr., who is bent on domination. In his rebellious "teenage" phase, he runs away and starts reeking havoc. Eventually, Morty is able to calm him down, and Morty Jr. becomes a successful author.

Rick and Morty Episode 8: Rixty Minutes

Episode 8 Summary

When Rick hooks up the family's tv receiver with reality-tv shows from alternate dimensions, and allows them to see themselves in different versions of their lives, they begin to wonder what they have, and more importantly - what could have been.

Rick gives the family a remote that lets them watch infinite television shows from infinite realities. These includes ones where Jerry is a movie star, Beth is a human heart surgeon, and Summer (in one of the few she exists in) plays Yahtzee with her family. Rick and Morty browse the television shows while Beth and Jerry contemplate their life choices and Summer contemplates her existence. Morty convinces Summer not to run away, and after viewing their alternate lives for longer, Beth and Jerry choose not to divorce.

Rick and Morty Episode 9: Something Ricked This Way Comes

Episode 9 Summary

Rick goes to battle with the devil, and Summer gets upset about it, broh. Plus Jerry and Morty hang out, broh!

Jerry begins helping Morty with his science fair project, and Rick takes Summer to her new job at a thrift store that is owned by the devil. Jerry and Morty are abducted by aliens and taken back to their "planet" Pluto because of Jerry's insistence that it is indeed a planet. Meanwhile, Rick creates a device to detect the ironic negative effects of the items sold by the devil and starts a business to remove the curses from the items. Because of this, the devil kills himself, but Summer saves him. He rebrands his company which is bought by Google. On Pluto, Jerry has become a celebrity, but that all ends once he admits Pluto is not a planet, so he is discarded back on Earth. Morty decides to turn in the butter passing robot for his project, and the episode ends with Rick and Summer beating the shit out of the devil.

Rick and Morty Episode 10: Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind

Episode 10 Summary

Rick has a run in with some old associates, resulting in a fallout with Morty. You got any chips, broh?

The episode begins with a seemingly evil Rick and Morty coming through a portal and shooting Rick in the head at the kitchen table and stealing Morty away. The Rick and Morty we know and love (from C137) are taken to the Citadel of Ricks (the headquarters of the Council of Ricks) as Rick is the main suspect for the murder of 27 Ricks. Before he is punished, Rick grabs a portal gun and the duo escapes. Unable to find him, the Council sends plenty of Ricks to Jerry's house. Our duo travels to the lair of the evil duo who framed them. It is covered in hundreds of constantly tortured Mortys for cloaking purposes. Back at home, Jerry befriends doofus Rick (J19 Zeta 7). Our duo is captured by the evil duo; Morty is thrown into a jail with a bunch of other Mortys and leads their escape. He saves Rick, they release the Mortys, and return home. Episode 10 ends by revealing that the evil Rick was being controlled by the evil Morty, who is left to be free.

Rick and Morty Episode 11 (Season 1 Finale): Ricksy Business

Episode 11 Summary

Beth and Jerry head for an iceberg of a date leaving Rick in charge. Morty doesn't get to go on any more adventures if the house isn't in the same condition when they get back.

Beth and Jerry go on a Titanic themed getaway, leaving Rick at home in charge of the kids. Rick and Summer throw a crazy party. Morty is freaking out until Jessica shows up. Her boyfriend, Brad, gets into a fight with Abradolf Lincler, causing Jessica to storm off. Trying to impress her, Morty shows her the garage and ends up breaking a machine, transporting the house to another dimension. To get it back, they need calaxian crystals. Back on the Titanic, Jerry is spending his "romantic" getaway with a maid, Lucy, the ship misses the iceberg, and Lucy strips naked and holds Jerry up at gunpoint. Fortunately, Beth returns and saves Jerry from being raped. In the other dimension, Summer and Rick ditch their unwanted "friends", Nancy and Abradolf (respectively), with Morty who go find the crystals. Lincler dies in the process, but at least, Rick gets to snort the crystals. Morty makes him take them back and Rick freezes time moments before Beth and Jerry walk inside the door.
