The first joke is an obvious reference to "HBO's Game of Thrones" called "The Mores" on. The ending is that they both watched it. It's a worse version of Broad City with Beevers as the turning point character. He ties together the White girl(Abbi) and the ethnic minority(Ilana). It would also makes sense that he would have the same type of friends or that Abbi's roommate (Bever's gf) would have the same type of friend as Abbi (Ilana).
