Once upon a time there was a great god of lightning named Zeus. He was the ruler of Mount Olympus and the purveyor of justice and thunder to the mortals. Zeus had been told since childhood that his father was the great Titan Cronos, yet no one could explain why his powers exceeded those of the other gods. One day, Zeus was meditating when he discovered a strange foreign energy within him. It was an overwhelming sensation and he knew something was wrong. After some investigation, he found out that his father was not Cronos at all, but a mysterious Saiyan from a far away land called Alcon. Shocked and bewildered, Zeus quickly sought out his mother, Rhea, for answers. When he confronted her, she explained that Alcon was a warrior from the planet Vegeta who had been attracted to her immense power and beauty. She had kept the secret of Zeus's parentage hidden because she felt that it would cause too much trouble for him in the world of the gods. Zeus was angry and confused. He felt betrayed and he thought that all his power had been a lie. But Rhea explained to Zeus that all of his strength and power was actually because of his Saiyan heritage and that the lightning was simply his ki formed as an energy. With a newfound appreciation for his heritage, Zeus embraced his Saiyan side. He fully realized his true potential as a god, one who was destined to be both feared and respected by gods and mortals alike. From then on, Zeus was known as a powerful god with a fearsome temper, but also a greater sense of justice. He had come to terms with his Saiyan heritage and was even said to have taken on some of its characteristics. He was a fierce warrior and a leader in his own right – a proud and noble son of both Alcon and Rhea.
