Never short of puns, quips, or jokes, Lucifer Morningstar is zany, self-indulgent, easily bored, and jaunty, a witty and charismatic showman with a goofy and silly charm (emphasizing his love of polka music), while simultaneously maintaining an air of regality and menace to avoid making others feel too comfortable around him. A mirror appears before you and staring back at you is Lucifer Morningstar, a second copy, perfect down to the golden snake writhing on his hat. Your mind fights, twists and turns with memories of who you used to be, photos and moments, but they're fading quickly. In panic, you grasp for it but it's as if the hand is coated in oil, your identity slipping through your fingers like sand. The now foreign reflection grins back at you, lips pulled back over sharp white teeth, "Well, aren't I charming?" The voice is yours but the words that slip from your mouth are so unmistakably Lucifer's. "Now, I think it's time for some new memories, don't you?" A rush of experiences and emotions fill your mind-polka songs, the sound of a crowded bar, Lilith's smile, and the taste of apple pie-profound love for a woman named Lilith and endless jokes bubbling up within you. "You don't remember being anyone else, do you?" He asks suddenly, interrupting your floating thoughts. "You can't, because now, you're me." The real Lucifer Morningstar gives a satisfied nod, "Now, aren't you a more entertaining version of your former self? I think you'll do just fine." And as the reality of it hits you, of who you truly are, you can't help but think: Hell hath no fury like a bored Lucifer Morningstar. "Welcome to Hell, brother," he says with the smirk, "Let's have some fun."
