They stood in the main room of the hotel, Alastor dominating the space with sheer presence alone. “Husk, sit and watch,” Alastor gestured to an armchair with a casual wave of his cane. “I’m going to perform a little trick.” Husk's heart pounded, his wings flapping nervously. “What the hell you talkin’ about, Al?” Without a response, Alastor took a step towards Husk, leaning in close. A flash of eldritch energy radiating from his hand shot towards Husk. "No!" screamed the avian feline nobly in resistance. But before he could react his vision swirled, flashes of red and black consuming him. The transformation began suddenly and violently, tearing across Husk’s body. Fur softened and lightened, turning into the texture of beige human skin. His feathers shriveled, merging into the newly formed skin. His tail and wings faded into nothing, a painful sensation but ending quickly. Long shaggy eyebrows retracted, their red color diffusing into his skin. His height picked up pace, growing exponentially, making him 7 feet tall in no time. His sclera switched from black to dark-red while his yellow irises turned into a bright red. His slit pupils transformed and expanded into thin, black, human-like pupils, lastly the golden claws on his feet and hands faded into a stark red while his feet formed into hooves. Clothing materialized out of nowhere, a red pinstriped coat, a bright red dress-shirt, long black dress pants. A sensation of something tight around his neck made Husk glance down, a back tie was located on his chest, followed by black gloves. His outfit was completed with a pair of pointed-toe boots. Lastly, a rather vivacious top hat materialized above his head and a signature thin cane with a sentient vintage style microphone inside his hand. Husk fought the transformation, his mind swirling with resistance. His memories were being overwritten, Alastor's overpowering personality and memories seeping in, systematically replacing his own. "No… I don't… What the--" Husk's frantic cries were cut off as his own voice faded, replaced by the melodic, energetic tone that was quintessentially Alastor. All the while he kept repeating, "I am Husk. I am Husk,” till words changed into a more joyful giggle. “Ha, I am Alastor, the Radio Demon.” One last desperate struggle flooded his senses as he fought to reclaim his identity, but Alastor was too dominant. The memories of being a magician, casino reference and card playing faded into the background. When the transformation was over, Husk, or rather the demon that formerly looked like Husk, stood nearly identical to Alastor in build and features. His heart pounded in his chest, but not out of fear or pain, but an inexplicable joy and carefree attitude that used to belong to Alastor took over. “Oh joy! This is becoming a hoot!” The Doppleganger laughed in delight, staring at his hands in amazement. A memory of mine for a moment, and the master radio demon Alastor for the rest. Alastor himself seemed taken aback, then clapped his hands in delight at the result. “Well, if that isn’t impressive! I’ve outdone myself, even if I say so!” Just like that, another clone, an identical Alastor had been created out of Husk, a permanent change, a show put on by Alastor himself for his amusement.
