The new 'Toni' demanded, oblivious to her former life as Tommy. Spotting the missing wedge and discarded wedding ring, Toni walked over and slid her foot into the shoe with a comfortable ease. Bending over, she picked up the sparkling ring and slid it back onto her finger. The soft ray of light refracting from the diamond ring made her heart flutter with excitement. After all, she was married and had a fun day of shopping planned with her little sister. With a newfound sense of fulfillment, she reached out for her car keys and sashayed outside, her wedges-clicking against the pavement. She unlocked her car from a distance, the beep-beep sound making her smile. As she slipped inside her car, her heart swelled with anticipation.
