Question: Write a transformation story of Lan Hikari (from the Megaman Battle Network video game/anime series) turning into Kakashi Hatake (from the Naruto anime series), complete with height progression, age progression, reality change (Lan's world (Megaman Battle Network world) becoming the world of Naruto), and mind/mental change (with Lan's personality and memories being completely replaced with Kakashi's personality and memories, despite Lan's best efforts on fighting them off, making him only remember being Kakashi Hatake). For Lan Hikari's appearance, he is an 11 year old boy who stands at 142.8 centimeters tall and has brown eyes and untidy brown hair, which he keeps out of his face with a bandana bearing the Hikari family mark. His upper-body attire consists of a white long-sleeved shirt with black squares on the elbows under an orange vest. From the waist down, he wears black shorts with yellow stripes on the sides, black ankle-socks, and orange shoes with black stripes. He carries detachable roller blades that allow him to instantly modify his shoes. He will often be seen with his backpack. He almost always carries his PET with him, and the later versions usually come with a pouch or a strap to carry it with. For Lan Hikari's personality, he is outgoing, headstrong, and has a strong sense of justice, though he is often lazy, often sleeping in causing him being late to prior engagements (even if he is the one who set them up), and is a poor student in school, much to Ms. Mari's frustration and despite MegaMan's nagging, though he has the highest grades in Virus Busting. Lan enjoys sports such as soccer and inline skating, which is shown in his preference to skate wherever he goes. He is shown to have a large appetite, often indulging when food is around. As an operator, Lan is able to concentrate in a way he cannot bring himself to do in other situations, and is quick to jump into action to save the day while others panic, even at his own risk. He has a keen sense of deduction, though he often has a simplistic way of looking at things. Despite his aptitude for Net Battling, Lan's ego and arrogance often lead to him making careless mistakes which sometimes put people he cares about in danger. His simple outlook on life also leads to several other problems, such as his emotional vulnerability, which has been exploited. Late in the third game, his vanity and then his trust are both abused in succession, and he is left believing that he is guilty for putting thousands of lives in danger, including his father's, causing him to fall into depression. When he finally arises, his worldview is tempered with a better understanding of evil. For Kakashi Hatake's appearance (after Lan turned into him), he is a 26 or 31 year old ninja man who has spiky silver hair often oriented to his left-side, dark grey eyes (black in several instances), a typically a relaxed and lazy expression, and a vertical scar on his left eye. He is considered very handsome by most girls near his age. He is about 181 centimeters tall and weigh 67.5 kilograms. Kakashi wears Konoha's standard infantry clothing for most of Part I and Part II: a dark blue headband with a metal piece the on front (which covers his Sharingan eye), a flak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. He also wears fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand and is seen with a chain necklace underneath. Since early childhood and near-constantly, he wears a mask that prevents most of his face (except his eyes) from being visible. On the few occasions he exposes his full face, he has a narrow jaw-line and a beauty mark under the left corner of his mouth. Overall, he is considered very handsome as seen from Teuchi and Ayame's reaction to seeing his face. For Kakashi Hatake's personality, he was very independent and self-confident, at times even appearing arrogant and condescending, ever since his early childhood. Despite that, Kakashi was very perceptive and intuitive, quickly realising the situation for what it was. After his father's death, Kakashi became more stern, aloof and cold toward others, following all the rules to the letter, chastising any who disobeyed them and being willing to abandon his comrades to finish missions. As an adult, Kakashi typically has a relaxed and almost bored attitude, not prone to getting too worked up about anything or by anyone. Despite his increasingly growing reputation and prowess as a ninja, Kakashi has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his abilities. He is habitually tardy, showing up when it suits him, using excuses that convince nobody, and later leaving for equally poor reasons. Though Kakashi wants others to believe this is how he always acts, he only does so for matters that aren't of particular importance. In truth, Kakashi is rather a solitary and matter-of-fact person. Kakashi is still just as apathetic as he was during his youth, often speaking bluntly about sensitive topics and occasionally ignores his fellow classmates, whenever he passed by them. He is alone for most of his spare time, spending hours visiting Rin Nohara's grave or the Memorial Stone where Obito Uchiha's name is engraved. He tells them about his life, recent events in Konoha, and others they knew, but mostly he shares his regrets that they cannot be with him or that their deaths were his fault. In the anime, after Rin died, Kakashi went through a period of post-traumatic stress disorder, having nightmares about her death and growing depressed whenever others mentioned her. Over time, Kakashi comes to accept that Rin chose to die, so his guilt instead became more about his broken promise to Obito to keep Rin safe. This fact causes Obito's apparent death to weigh more heavily on him, compounding the regret he feels about what his personality was even hours before Obito seemingly died. Kakashi feels that, had he cared about teamwork and friendship in the same way that Obito did, Obito's "death" might have been avoided. Thinking it would ease his pain, Minato convinced Kakashi to join the Anbu. During his time in the Anbu however, Kakashi gained a reputation for his cold-bloodedness. As noted by Kurenai Yūhi, Kakashi suffered with suicidal thoughts during his Anbu career, with his reckless fighting style and lack of self-care being deemed as Kakashi being in a hurry to die. Obito's apparent death profoundly changed Kakashi. More particularly, he became committed to teamwork and always places teammates' well-being above the mission's: he believes goals can be accomplished more effectively together, asking for help when he needs it, providing help when it is requested of him, and praising allies when they deserve it. An abuse of one's teammates is the only thing that can makes Kakashi cast aside his normally stoic demeanour, causing him to attack without mercy or his usual sense of sportsmanship. He expects his prospective students to demonstrate this same devotion to teamwork, which none until Team 7 were able to do; despite the high failure rate, the Third Hokage agrees with Kakashi's choice to require it. Kakashi becomes fond of all Team 7's members, even Sasuke Uchiha, to the point of blaming himself for Sasuke's criminal acts and his team's growing rift over it throughout Part II. He holds out hope that Sasuke will correct his behaviour, and for his patience he is able to see Team 7 reunified when Part II ends. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking.
The sun rose over ACDC Town, casting its warm glow through Lan Hikari's bedroom window. Lan, as usual, was still asleep, sprawled out on his bed with his PET on the nightstand buzzing with alerts. "Lan, wake up! You're going to be late again!" MegaMan.EXE, Lan's NetNavi and digital companion, called. But Lan only turned over and muttered something incoherent. Suddenly, an unexplainable energy pulse filled the room. Lan's eyes snapped open as he felt an electrifying buzz through his whole body. Gasping, he looked around, seeing his room distorting and warping around him. "MegaMan, what's happening?" he called out in panic, his voice shaking. "I... I don't know, Lan!" MegaMan's voice became distorted, and his image on the PET screen flickered before disappearing entirely. The world around Lan began to shift. His room, the house, the streets of ACDC Town - all were morphing into a new, unfamiliar place. Trees grew taller, homes morphed into ancient-looking buildings, and the skies turned a shade unfamiliar. Lan tried to run, but his feet felt like lead. Looking down, he saw his legs growing longer, his body becoming taller and more muscular. His brown hair turned silver, and an unfamiliar scar etched itself across his left eye. His outfit changed from his usual vibrant attire to a dark blue ensemble with a flak jacket over it. Lan's mind was in a frenzy. "No! This isn't right! I'm Lan Hikari, not... not..." But the changes continued. His PET vanished, replaced by a headband with a metal plate. His roller blades transformed into shinobi sandals. His sense of justice began to feel tempered, deepening into a stern discipline and a commitment to teamwork over individual heroism. Memories of soccer games and video battles faded, replaced by silent memorials, missions, and the weight of lost teammates. As the transformation concluded, Lan tried in vain to cling to his old self. "I... I love Net Battling... MegaMan...!" But the voice that responded was not his anymore. It was calm, assured, and decidedly different. "MegaMan.EXE? What are you talking about?" The voice echoed in his head. Lan's resistance faded, becoming a mere whisper within a vast new identity. The world around had completely changed. Lan found himself in the Hidden Leaf Village of Konoha, fully absorbed by the persona of Kakashi Hatake. He adjusted his headband, covering his left eye, and looked around with calm eyes. "I must have overslept again," Kakashi muttered, barely masking the somber tone that lingered beneath his nonchalant facade. Kakashi took a deep breath, adjusting to this world that felt strangely right, despite the residual confusion. In the distance, he could hear the familiar voices of young ninja, preparing for their day. Even though the resisting echo of Lan Hikari's voice had subsided, a small part of Kakashi felt a weight of unfamiliar reminiscence, a fleeting image of roller blades skirting across the pavement and a PET clutched tightly in hands. As he walked through the streets of Konoha, an elderly villager greeted him. "Good morning, Kakashi-san!" The voice pulled him back to the reality of his new identity. Kakashi returned the greeting with a casual wave. "Another day in Konoha... Just another day in this endless cycle," he thought to himself, yet an inexplicable sense of longing gnawed at him. He shook his head, dismissing it. "I need to meet with Team 7." In the training grounds, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke awaited his arrival, grumbling about his usual tardiness. "You're late again, Sensei," Naruto exclaimed, hands on his hips. Rolling his eye, Kakashi replied with a lazy smile, “Well, you see, I got lost on the road of life." Though casual and collected, Kakashi could not shake off the changes within him. The fragmented memories of a brighter, more carefree life spoke of a boy named Lan Hikari from a far-off world of technology and Megamen. But Kakashi, now fully in control, knew his duty lay here, in this world of ninjas and battles less digital but just as dire. Each step taken in Konoha solidified his identity, erasing the traces of the life that was. "Teamwork," Kakashi thought, echoing the convictions now deeply rooted within him. "This is my path." The sun continued to rise over the Hidden Leaf Village, with an ex-NetBattler now entirely embraced as a shinobi, the story of Lan Hikari ebbing away like a distant dream, leaving Kakashi Hatake to face his destiny. "Alright, Team 7, let's get to work."
