Once upon a time in the small-town suburbs of Kansas, there lived a young boy named Tommy. A tiny figure, standing at just 4 feet tall, Tommy was only eight years old. A child of simplicity, he wore his casual wear, consisting of an oversized T-shirt bearing the image of his favorite superhero and a pair of denim shorts, a stark contrast to his little sneakers, both muddy from his day's adventure. As the night danced its way into the quiet town, the young lad found himself snuggling down under his checkerboard quilt, pulling it tightly around him as he hummed a familiar lullaby under his breath. He glanced around the room, but it didn't seem to be his. He looked down at himself startled, blurted out, "Oh where on Earth has my superhero T-shirt gone, and look at these fabulous sequins on my gloves!" The shrill voice emerging from his mouth was alien to him. It was feminine and he had a commanding tone, one which belonged to the famous drag queen—Miss Jinkx Monsoon. Miss Jinkx Monsoon, aged 33, born on 18th September, 1987, was a well-reputed drag queen known for her flair for drama and signature looks. Tall and graceful, she stood at 5.8 feet. He grabbed a nearby mirror only to gasp at the woman looking back. Jinkx, the engaging representative of Seattle, Washington, was in full dazzling attire—a sparkling, floor-length gown complimented by her extravagant red heels. She was the epitome of grace and audacity. But Tommy was frightened, the unexpected transformation leaving him in a state of shock and terror. He started to cry. He tried to call out to his mother, hoping her familiar soothing voice would calm him, but all he could muster in Jinkx's voice was, "Mommy, I'm scared."
