Question: Write a story about a teenage boy who was trying on some clothes at a department store. While in the fitting room, he was looking at how well the shirt and trousers fitted him, when he saw a bright spot of colour behind him. Turning around, he saw a bright orange bra and matching panties sitting on the bench. After a moment, he shed his clothes and pulled on the panties, the figured out how to wear the bra. They were snug but fit quite nice. After chuckling at how the fit was, he looked for where he had dropped his clothes, only to see that they were gone. He heard a giggle from the neighbouring stall, and a white dress, along with a pair of red sandals were sitting under the partition. He pulled on the dress, which was a bit short on him, then shoved his feet into the sandals. Leaving the fitting room, he thought he saw someone were in his clothes leaving, but before he could follow her, he was stopped by a boy about his age who called him by a girls name and asked if she was ready to head out. Realising that this must be the boyfriend of the girl whose clothes he was wearing, he just nodded as the boyfriend took his hand and walked out of the department store, not noticing his apparent girlfriend was a boy in girls clothes. The boyfriend handed him a phone in a pink case and he saw a new text had arrived from his own number. The girl was telling him to enjoy being a girl for a little bit. He sighed quietly, knowing that there wasn't much he could do, but at least the boyfriend he had gained was nice, even if he hadn't noticed the switch.
Ethan was out of his element shopping for clothes but he knew he needed a new outfit for his upcoming band concert. As reluctant as he was, he made his way to a large department store at the mall and picked out a few options before heading into the fitting rooms. He closed the door behind him, half-expecting a disastrous try-on session, but as he slipped on a sleek shirt and pair of trousers, he was pleasantly surprised. They fit remarkably well, accentuating his lean build. Admiring his reflection in the mirror, Ethan felt a flicker of confidence he seldom had. Then, something in his peripheral vision drew his attention. A bright spot of colour, almost glaring in the otherwise muted fitting room. Turning slowly, Ethan's eyes widened as he spotted a vibrant orange bra and matching panties neatly placed on the bench. "Who leaves underwear in here?" he mused, glancing around the tiny space as if the answer might be hidden in the rafters. Curiosity got the better of him, and with a smirk playing at his lips, Ethan shed his clothes and reached for the panties. They were surprisingly soft, and after a quick shuffle, he had them snugly in place. The bra took a bit more effort—he fumbled with the straps and clasps, but after a few moments of wrestling with it, he had it on too. They fit, perhaps a bit snugly, but well enough. He chuckled at his own reflection—a teenage boy dressed in bright orange lingerie. It was utterly absurd and strangely enthralling at the same time. But his mirth was short-lived. He glanced down to where he'd left his own clothes strewn across the floor. They were gone. Ethan's heart skipped a beat. He spun around, peeking under the door of the fitting room in hopes of catching a culprit, when a soft giggle from the adjacent stall caught his attention. A white dress and a pair of red sandals appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, beneath the partition. Tentatively, Ethan slipped into the dress, finding it a tad short but wearable. He shoved his feet into the red sandals and took a deep breath. This was getting weirder by the second. Pushing open the door, Ethan peered out into the corridor of fitting room stalls. Down the hallway, he saw a girl, about his age, wearing his clothes and walking towards the exit with an air of casual confidence. He was about to follow her when a boy, also around Ethan's age, intercepted him. "Hey, Jessica! Ready to head out?" the boy asked, a warm smile on his face. Ethan's mind raced. Jessica? Was that the girl's name? And... this was her boyfriend? He hesitated but eventually nodded, albeit reluctantly. The boy took his hand, his grip soft yet secure, and they walked out of the department store together. Anxiety clawed at Ethan's mind, but he couldn't help but notice how naturally the boy treated him, even if he didn't realize his 'girlfriend' had been swapped. As they ventured into the mall, Ethan felt a buzz in his hand. The boy handed him a phone encased in pink. A new text message had come in—from Ethan's own number. With a sense of unease, he opened the message. "Enjoy being me for a bit. ;)" A quiet sigh escaped his lips. It seemed Jessica—whoever she was—had orchestrated this strange charade for reasons Ethan couldn't quite grasp. But seeing the sincere and attentive look in the boy's eyes, Ethan decided to accept his temporary role with as much grace as he could muster. After all, if nothing else, at least he had a nice boyfriend—even if only for a little while.
