Question: Write a POV transformation story of the average male human reader (about 6 feet tall) turning into a male gelfling (from The Dark Crystal franchise) castle guard from the Stonewood Clan, complete with instant clothes change, slight height regression, age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to dreamfasting, dream space ability, and dream etching), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming an the world of The Dark Crystal, albeit in an alternate timeline where the skeksis were fully defeated and the gelflings remain widespread and thriving), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with a gelfling's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a human and only remember being a gelfling). The transformation is permanent (meaning it is forever) and is completely irreversible. For the male gelfling reader's appearance (after the human reader turned into him), he is like other gelflings; having four-fingered hands (rather than five unlike his previous human self), slenderly built, and with wide, triangular face tapering to a pointed chin. He also has large, wide eyes that are set apart on either side of a flattish nose. He has long dark brown (almost black) hair, from which his large, pointed ears protrudes. He wears an outfit very much like the other castle guard gelflings. For his personality, he is comfortable in both a Landstrider saddle and a former-Skeksis carriage, and is a moderately skilled lute player. A skilled warrior, the gelfling reader favors swords and spears in battle, and is proficient enough to best skeksis in single combat. The story is that the reader was minding his own business, but then his reality started to change almost instantly, leaving him on the planet of Thra (more specifically, the Castle of the Crystal) rather than on Earth in his suburban home; albeit in an alternate Dark Crystal timeline where the skeksis have been truly defeated by the heroic gelflings, rather than the gelflings being almost extinct as in the main timeline. After all of that happened, his body and mind transformation occurs next. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human, so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends, crying out in tears, as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging/invading gelfling memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mundane human life and he only remembers being a gelfling (complete with a new name fitting for an gelfling, rather than an old human name he once remembered having) who lives in an alternate Dark Crystal timeline where gelflings remain widespread and successful. To aid in the now-gelfling reader's transforming mind, a beautiful female gelfling castle guard comes up to the reader and comforts him with a gentle hug, an affectionate kiss, and telling him to remember who he really is (a gelfling), making the reader realize that the gelfling woman comforting him is his caring, understanding, and loving wife (whom the gelfling reader truly loves, cares, and understands, having always known her), and the reader is genuinely happy to know that his previous human life was only a daydream (he is completely unaware of ever being a human) and is happy that his life as a gelfling (where he enjoys being with his gelfling wife) is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Not only that, but there should be quotes in elven language (as well as the translations for those who don't know what those elven words mean), even the reader's language shift during his panic. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
### Sudden Transformation You are lounging in your suburban living room, surrounded by the chatter of a busy household. The TV hums with the sound of a news anchor, and outside, the distant mowing of a lawn adds a background note of suburban tranquillity. It's an ordinary day, just like any other. But then, a sensation like rippling water washes over you. Your vision blurs as reality distorts around you. ### Thra's New Reality Sitting up, you find yourself no longer in your suburban home, but within the grand corridors of the Castle of the Crystal. Panic wells up inside you. How did you get here? The walls of the castle, beautifully carved and glowing with a faint luminescence, surround you. Gelflings, bustling with purpose, pass by, nodding at you acknowledgingly, as if your presence here is ordinary. ### Body Morphing You glance down at your hands and see your flesh shimmer, shape-shifting. Four fingers protrude from each hand—your human digits replaced by gelfling ones. "No! What is happening to me?" you cry, clutching at your transforming body. Your legs grow slender and taper, pushing you to a slightly shorter height. Muscles and bones rearrange, adapting to a gelfling's anatomy. Your clothes too morph, engulfing you in a guard’s attire, befitting someone seeking the protection of the realm. The comfortable, yet resilient fabric feels like second nature to you. Your reflection in a crystal surface reveals wide-set eyes, a pointed nose, and long dark brown hair—with ears that jutt outward. ### Onslaught of Memories Memories flood your mind, unbidden and overwhelming. You see yourself atop a Landstrider, strong and steady. You engage in gripping battles, sword and spear in hand, against foes you remember so vividly. Yet, part of you fights against this torrent, clinging to the fading fragments of your human past. You scream, "No! I am not a gelfling! I’m—" but your assertive declaration falls apart, muffled and forgotten. The foreign thoughts infuse themselves with undeniable clarity, overwriting what remains of your human identity. "Tiya-skein [stop this]!" you find yourself pleading in the tongue of the Gelflings, a language that now feels as natural as breathing. ### The Presence of Love and Comfort As you struggle, a gentle voice permeates your wall of fear. “Shh, it’s alright, love.” A beautiful female gelfling guard approaches, her eyes filled with warmth. She embraces you, her gentle touch a soothing balm. She kisses your forehead softly, "Reme-hana [remember], it’s me—Lira, your wife." Her words are warm, familiar. The name “Lira” resonates deeply within you, triggering a cascade of your life together—of tender moments beneath the glowing tree canopy, fights side by side against the skeksis, and nights filled with her music as she played the lute. "Enjin, tiya sike en," she encourages (translation: You are here, remain here), and it hits you with the force of a realization: You are not this misplaced human but always a gelfling. ### Embracing the True Self Finally, you surrender to the influx, your human past dwindling away to nothing but a misty dream. This—not the suburbs—is your true life. You pull Lira into a tighter embrace, tears of relief streaming down your face. “Thank you, Lira. I remember everything now,” you say, your voice steady and full of conviction. “I am a son of Stonewood, a guard of the castle, and a proud warrior.” You stand tall, a sense of completeness settling over you. No longer burdened by the contrast of two conflicting lives, you know who you truly are. Enkin is your name—a gelfling dedicated to his duties, his clan, and above all, the love that binds him to Lira. Your life as a human has faded like a distant dream, replaced by a reality brimming with joy, adventure, and purpose here on Thra.
