**Title: Dark Moth Returns**

Question: Miraculous: Return of the Dark Moth Make me a fanfiction sequel of Miraculous: Rise of the Dark Moth called “Miraculous: Return of the Dark Moth”, with a plot that continued after Ladybug, Cat Noir, and their friends in the Miraculous Resistance had saved Paris from Dark Moth and the Akuma Army on Halloween, and fighting against Ladybug’s evil clone, Phantombug. During the Akuma Wars, Marinette and Adrien revealed themselves to be Ladybug and Cat Noir, and become a couple. Their friend, PJ Mills aka Paint le Panda helped bring back Gabriel’s wife, Emile Agreste, Adrien’s mother to life without the use of the Miraculous wish’s ultimate power. Zoe Lee, the stepsister of Chloe Bourgeois comes to Paris, as Dark Mills as Dark Moth comes back from the rubble with a changed appearance, making him more demonic. He then starts vows to make Gabriel Agreste’s life a misery, making his future set in stone, and that he would be the future Hawk Moth. Only this time, he gets powers from the Other Side (the Underworld) as he laughed demonically. Marinette narrates the recap of the past events about the Akuma Wars, and Gabriel and Adrien reuniting with Emilie Agreste. As Emilie and Gabriel spent time together as a family, Emilie request Gabriel to promise her, “No more evil Hawk Moth”, and he reluctantly agreed to her and Nathalie’s request as Gabriel started becoming Betterfly and Natahlie Sancouer, her assistant recovered more from the damaged Peacock Miraculous’s effects. Before her date, Marinette had a nightmare about Phantombug coming back from her negative emotions. She worries that her negative emotions would cause her to attack her friends, even her best friend, Alya Cesaire, who she said that she was Ladybug. But Alya keeps her identity a secret, and remains loyal. As Marinette and Adrien start to date, they have a talk on the rooftops as Ladybug and Cat Noir, that if Ladybug’s negative emotions to Cat Noir arise or act like Phantombug, she requests Cat Noir to help her to come back to her senses. During their talk, they miss PJ, Inky and Paint le Panda who fought by their side and brought them together. However, as Chloe and Gabriel make their apology speeches, saying they will do better, an illusion of Robustus attacks the city, and Gabriel said that he create his mecha this time, as Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat Robustus and Ladybug purifies the sentimonster feather, wondering how it was created. Dark Moth then starts announcement that he will return to make Paris into a city of villains, putting all of the citizens in a state of panic. But Marinette’s classmates say the Miraculous heroes will stop him again like they did during the Akuma Wars. Dark Moth doubts that. Only this time, his return will be made because got help from his friends he made on the Other Side, the Underworld, and plans to take everything dear to them, starting with the Agreste family. Gabriel hurries back to his mansion as Dark Mills strikes Emilie Agreste, making her fall back into her comatose state, and make Nathalie her weak and sick like when she wore the Peacock Miraculous. Gabriel realized this was the threat Dark Mills was going to make, so he tells Nathalie to get somewhere safe, as she goes on a train to get better. Gabriel clashes with Dark Mills until he used Emilie Agreste as a shield. He then blackmails Gabriel, forcing him to become evil again by stealing almost all the Miraculouses from the Chinese Miracle Box. For this, Dark Mills forces Hawk Moth to become Shadow Moth using Nooroo and Duusu, creating new akumatised villains for Ladybug and Cat Noir to fight. Meanwhile, Ladybug then makes Magical Charms to protect Shadow Moth’s victims from being evilised again. Meanwhile, Ladybug and Cat Noir meet a friend of Wang Fu, Su-Han who told Ladybug and Cat Noir that Wang Fu had left Paris to be with Marianne in London. Ladybug knew that as she was made Guardian again. Back at school, Caline Bustier tells the class since their field trip to New York that she is pregnant. One mission later, Adrien gave up being Cat Noir, and left his Miraculous with Ladybug, feeling like he was unappreciated by her. Adrien was convinced by Plagg to create a brand new identity as a holder of the Cat Miraculous, becoming Cat Walker, even donning a brand new suit. After facing a giant cat piggy bank sentimonster, that Ladybug that was Cat Noir evilised, and saving a girl who lost her cat, Adrien later returned to his original hero persona, Cat Noir. During Dark Moth’s attacks behind the scenes, using Shadow Moth, Chloe calls Ladybug to make Zoe Lee into the new Bee Miraculous hero, Visperia in her place, as people still won’t trust Chloe as Queen Bee. During a battle with Alex who was evilised into Wishmaker, Luka aka Viperion, wielder of the Snake Miraculous witness the villain exposing Marinette as Ladybug and Adrien as Cat Noir, but uses his Second Chance to go back a few seconds to erase those alternate timelines, and keeps Marinette’s identity a secret. Then, as Marinette was going to temporarily leave Paris with her parents to celebrate her aunt's birthday, she gives her best friend, Alya the Ladybug Miraculous as Markov, Max Kante’s robot friend becomes akumatised as Robostus, and turned into Hack-San, hacking everyone’s phones and trapping them. Alya then had Tikki transform her into Scarabella, a ladybug/scarab-themed superhero with the power of Creation working with Cat Noir who refused to believe that she was the new Ladybug at first. His efforts to force Gabriel as Shadow Moth to get Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculouses frustrated, Dark Moth w a big attack going for the Miraculouses stored in the Chinese Miracle Box by using Felix Fathom, Adrien’s identical cousin from England who was coming to visit wearing the Dog Miraculous to risk Ladybug giving them to him, sending them to Gabriel with her yo-yo, causing her to panic. Ladybug then saw hallucinations of Phantombug, haunting her as she fights the hallucinations to her anger. This made Dark Moth even powerful as he tells the world that Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Betterfly has failed to stop him, and he forces Gabriel to turn into Monarch, returning to his evil ways, but the citizens of Paris still root for Ladybug and Cat Noir to fight for Paris. In an attempt to keep his promise to Nathalie and Emilie, Gabriel uses the Miraculouses he stole for Dark Moth together, and use the Bunny Miraculous to travel back in time to prevent Emilie from taking the Peacock Miraculous as his engagement present, to save him, and stop himself from akumatising PJ into Dark Mills, but fails because of Dark Mills’s ghost keeps haunt him with illusions of Phantombug and Cat Blanc, and the real Ladybug and Cat Noir try to help him, by making the present Alix Kubdel into Bunnyx. As Gabriel confront the two heroes while time traveling, he can’t say why he’s being evil again. Returning back to his lair, he gets a call from Nathalie that she was disappointed that Gabriel couldn’t keep his promise to never be an evil Hawk Moth, calling him insane. Gabriel tries to blame Dark Mills for his actions, but Nathalie doesn’t believe him, cutting her ties with him, saying he doesn’t deserve hers of anyone’s help to be good. Lila helps Nathalie to her seat on the train and Gabriel becomes enraged, screaming loudly in anger, as Dark Mills watches in satisfaction. Unknown to him, Gabriel begins planning his revenge on Dark Mills. One day, Gabriel told Adrien that his mother had become comatose again, making his son suspicious that his father did it. But he confided in his son that Dark Mills’s ghost forced him to be evil, but promises never to evilise his own son, even if he had to split Adrien and Marinette apart. Gabriel then vows to Emilie that he will retrieve Ladybug’s Miraculous, and wish the “demon child”, Dark Mills would never return to create this madness. In one of their sleepovers, Marinette tells only Alya that she’s afraid Phantombug would come back, and that her evil clone was inside her negative emotions and her stress. But Alya calms her down and Marinette told her about a plan and a trap on Monarch, leaving clues at various places leading him to the Louvre museum. Ladybug had used her Lucky Charm, plastic wrapping to immobilize him, telling him to surrender the Miraculouses he took, or Cat Noir will cataclysm him. But as Ladybug tried to take the Butterfly Miraculous, Dark Mills’s ghost causes Cat Noir to accidentally use cataclysm on Monarch’s arm, weakening Gabriel as he escaped with Voyage. An hallucination of Phantombug then taunted Ladybug for her failure, as Gabriel had to turn the Miraculouses into Alliance rings. But the cataclysm scar on Gabriel got worse day by day, and during one of his fashion shows, he announces the Alliance Rings to contact anyone, and he denied any involvement with Dark Moth. He then speaks to Marinette in private, asking her to keep Adrien safe if something bad were to happen to him, and Marinette agreed. However, she wonders why Gabriel would ask her of all people. Kagami Tsurugi and Luka try to get Marinette and Adrien together with a double date at the museum, and an hallucination of Phantombug causes Marinette to admit she loves Cat Noir. Nathalie returns to the Agreste Mansion to speak with Gabriel in private, telling him that she came to stop him, but Gabriel shows Nathalie his cataclysm scar and thinks Dark Mills’s ghost made Cat Noir give that to him, and she tries to help Gabriel get revenge on Dark Mills, as Passion to get Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculouses, but even she fails as Ladybug and Cat Noir switch their Miraculouses to become Mister Bug and Lady Noir. Later, Luka Coffaine left Paris to be with his father, the rock star Jagged Star and his new lover and assistant, Penny. He then joins Su-Han and the Order of the Guardians. Gabriel then tries to ask Felix for help, giving him the Peacock Miraculous for him to become Argos, but Dark Mills’s influence on Gabriel causes him to try and split Marinette and Adrien apart by having Adrien dance with Kagami at the Diamond’s Dance. This was suspicious to Mrs. Tsurugi, Kagami’s mother, and Argos uses his power to create a Red Moon, and snaps his fingers to erase humanity from Dark Moth’s control to keep Kagami and Adrien safe. Ladybug confronts him, and uses a Lucky Charm, but realizes only Argos could stop himself. Confronted by Kagami and Adrien, Argos couldn’t bring back Marinette, who he thought was hidden somewhere safe, and bursts into tears for creating his Red Moon with his hatred, snapping his fingers to bring everyone back. Lila was shocked that she was replaced by Kagami to be part of his fashion brand, and she knew that Gabriel was Monarch. Dark Moth then sensed that Lila was going to get revenge on Gabriel, setting his plan in motion. The next day, Kagami Tsurugi and Felix Fathom meet and join forces, to stop Dark Moth, as Dark Mills’s ghost forced Gabriel to akumatise Tomoe Tsurugi to attack her daughter, threatening to end their alliance. Chloe takes a stand against Dark Moth’s attack, by running for mayor, but Dark Moth sends out a ghost of Dark Mills to force Chloe and Lila to join forces, and Sabrina Raincomprix joined with Marinette for Chloe and Lila to make a trap for them to confess they’re helping Dark Moth behind the scenes. Lila then calls Chloe on her Alliance ring that she has left Paris, to her confusion, as Lila discarded her identity and renamed herself as Cerise Bianca, a movie star, waiting for the right moment for Gabriel Agreste to fall, and during one meeting with Dark Moth as Dark Mills in private, he tells her that she will be taking what was Gabriel’s once he falls. Chloe was becoming powerful as mayor, with Dark Moth forcing Chloe to label Ladybug and Cat Noir as fugitives, making the people of Paris go against Chloe again, and Adrien severs his friendship with her. Chloe tries to say Dark Mills made her do it, but Adrien refuses to believe her anymore. Chloe Bourgeois then decided she needed to flush out Gabriel, thinking Dark Moth has returned by possessing Adrien’s father. She then lures Ladybug and Cat Noir into a Shell-ter trap for them to de-transform, but they see Chloe’s plot was to flush out Gabriel and Dark Moth as Lila told her that Gabriel was being forced to be evil somehow before Lila said she disappeared. The two heroes resist detransforming, snd end Chloe’s reign of terror as Audrey and Andre take Chloe to London. Dark Moth haunts Gabriel again with a nightmare that he will sent to the depths of the Underworld, and introduces him to his friends in the Other Side; the Hellhound from Don Bluth’s All Dogs Go to Heaven, as it blew flames creating small demons to gang up and attack him. However, Nathalie manages to wake him up. Fearing that he might take his son away, Gabriel then calls Adrien to pack up for his flight to England, telling him he will be safe from him and Dark Moth’s return before the last day of school. Marinette and Adrien share one last kiss before separating, and Marinette started crying. Caline Bustier then nominates herself to be the new Mayor of Paris as the people started to vote for her. Chloe calls on Marinette’s ring and taunts her saying that she knows about her secret crush on Adrien, but when she called her just as bad as keeping Adrien safe as Phantombug was, Marinette cuts Chloe off during their talk, and Marinette was already aware that Adrien left Paris because she knew that she and Adrien were tools for Gabriel’s undoing. Marinette then tells Chloe that she let herself become a pawn to Dark Moth again, saying she was the one who was “utterly ridiculous” as Marinette ended the call. Chloe then began to cry realizing that Dark Moth and Dark Mills made her truly lose everything. As Adrien’s plane landed in London, Dark Moth welcomed him, disguising himself as PJ, saying he came back to check on how Marinette and he were doing. But Adrien found out that his friend was actually Dark Mills when he said he was making a surprise for both his father and his Ladybug; a surprise… to die for. Angered by his threat, he realized that Dark Moth was the one who’s been making his father evil again, and the one who made put that cataclysm scar on his father. Adrien transformed into Cat Noir enraged, but Dark Moth captures him effortlessly returning to the Agreste Mansion where he plans to remake his villain empire. Felix watched this as he became Argos to warn Ladybug. Later, both Felix and Kagami meet again, as Felix became Argos. Together they bring Marinette to a play in the school’s art room, telling her about the REAL truth about how Gabriel Agreste became Hawk Moth; that he gave his wife Emilie Agreste the Peacock Miraculousl, putting her in a comatose state, and that he needed the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses and the Miraculous Wish’s Ultimate Power to bring her back. The two even tell Marinette that everything that Gabriel did, everything Chloe did, were all orchestrated by Dark Moth acting as Dark Mills’s ghost haunting him. Now Marinette vowed to help Gabriel and his family, and make a wish that Dark Mills was never to be made in their world. At the last day of school, Dark Moth forced Gabriel to become Monarch, summoning a Megakuma. Gabriel de-transforms and Dark Moth evilised Gabriel to become Nightormentor, and gets the kwamis, Mullo, Kaalki and Orikko to grant him their powers. First, he gains the power to fly and then Multitude to make clones and voyages all across the globe to spread nightmare dust and have everyone feel pain from their worst nightmares. Marinette felt pain in her head that Phantombug was slowly corrupting her to be evil, striking her allies, but Tikki manages to wake her up, saying Adrien is safe in London. Alya then came up to Marinette saying that she is terrified that she'll blab her secret identity, she runs away, since they can't be seen together. Marinette tries to reach out to her friend but her hallucinations of Phantombug started to return, as she decides to talk to Nathalie and later to see Alya. But then, Marinette and Gabriel gotten a message on their Alliance Rings from Dark Moth that he had captured Adrien, that he had become their shared weakness, their fear. Dark Moth told them that nowhere is safe from his wrath. He then ordered the two gather at the Agreste Mansion if they want to save him. Ladybug had to do something, and so did Gabriel. Adrien then told Plagg to fly to Marinette’s bakery with the Cat Miraculous ring. and he told Ladybug that Adrien’s been captured by Dark Moth. It was time for her to wield both Miraculouses of Ladybug and Cat, becoming Bug Noire to the rescue! Elsewhere, PJ and Inky, his prototype Panda kwami had gotten Dark Moth’s message that he captured Cat Noir, and then Bunnyx arrived, saying that Ladybug needs help against Dark Moth, and she was losing as Bunnyx saw from her burrow. She needed a partner, and PJ was going back as Paint Panda as he transformed. He said he made mistakes, causing the darkness of his heart to manifest itself into Dark Mills, and now he wasn’t going to let Paris fall into Dark Mills’s clutches again as they went to get some help from Ladybug and Cat Noir’s friends they met across the world. When Bug Noire arrived at the Agreste Mansion, she saw that Nathalie was succumbing to her illness, and she pleased to help save Gabriel from Dark Moth’s grasp, and she accepted. Gabriel Agreste appeared in the kitchen as Dark Moth forced him to fight as Monarch for her Miraculous. Marinette knew that this would happen, but it was inevitable. Gabriel apologized that he never meant for all this happen. Marinette understood why he did this, to try and save his wife, Emilie. They knew they would anything for their family, as they began to fight. During the battle, Bug Noire used multiple Lucky Charms. Meanwhile, Paint le Panda and Bunnyx came to the mansion, and they get help from Argos aka Felix Fathom, leading them to Monarch’s lair, and break the captive kwamis free from their prison. Then, they share a hug and a reunion with Inky and Duusu. PJ then said it was time for the Miraculous heroes to return. Bug Noire then made Monarch crash down to the repository beneath the mansion where Dark Moth had held Adrien hostage along where Emilie Agreste was comatose. During their battle, they were getting exhausted, and Gabriel fell down while de-transforming and was pain because of the cataclysm scar he had, and it was getting worse. Infuriated by his failure, Dark Moth came into the repository saying Gabriel was useless, and that he had failed his family as he was going to take his son and wife’s souls. But Gabriel had took their place, to Adrien and Nooroo’s surprise and horror and Bianca Cerise aka Lila Rossi watched. Dark Moth’s revenge was complete as he had taken Gabriel Agreste’s soul to fuel his secret weapon. Angered, Adrien tried to attack Dark Moth for what he did to his father, but he pins the son of Gabriel down under his foot. Just as he was going to evilise him, Dark Moth was struck on the back of the head by Bug Noire, who saw Gabriel’s sacrifice to save his family. Adrien shouted for Marinette to run away, but Bug Noire then jumps down and battles Dark Moth. But Dark Moth overpowers Bug Noire, making her lose the Cat Miraculous, turning her back to Ladybug, and the Cat Ring goes back to Adrien. He then turns his attention to Cat Noir and asking the two heroes, “Cats, do they go to heaven?” Horrified and realizing what he was going to do, Ladybug sees Dark Moth about to use his Akuma Ray on Adrien to permanently evilise him into Cat Blanc. Ladybug then began to jump in, taking the blow for Adrien as she was beginning to lose control, becoming evilised. Marinette then entered a nightmare world where she as Phantombug had went on a rampage, turning Paris into a wasteland. She hears Alya calling out to Marinette to stop her rampage, but Phantombug claimed that Marinette is gone, and that her new BFF was coming home. Back in the real world, Dark Moth continued to taunt Ladybug on her failures and proclaimed that he had won. However, Phantombug began to taunt Dark Moth back and told him to: "his best creation had returned", and laughed manically as a confused Dark Moth began to blast her again with the Fear Blast from his Akuma Ray, due to him having no idea that Phantombug had taken over and thought that Marinette was resisting. Being sent back into Marinette’s mind, Phantombug considered herself to be immune to the Akuma Ray, and called out to Ladybug to check if she was still around, which caused everything to go dark. As Phantombug was inside Marinette’s mind, the evil clone of Ladybug had witness moments that she was going to be forgotten and she would never be remembered. Ladybug then had trapped Phantombug in a labyrinth in her mind, which changed into Bunnyx’s burrow; making her clone realize her true fears; she was afraid of being unloved, she was becoming forgotten, and she WILL be forgotten… because of Ladybug. She corners her clone, and overpowered her with her spirit, and Ladybug sent Phantombug trapped in a Shell-ter bubble. Phantombug pleaded Ladybug to not imprison, leave and forget her, but Ladybug said to her clone, “Bye bye, Phantombug. You can never come back.” Ladybug then sent Phantombug to the end of time as her clone reached out to her and said, “Marinette, don’t leave me! Please! I need you…” She cried as Ladybug turned away from Phantombug in her mind. Back at the repository, Adrien watched in worry that the girl he loved was going to become her worst enemy, but Ladybug smiled, resisting the effects of the Akuma Ray to Adrien’s surprise. Dark Moth was shocked to see his Akuma Ray didn’t work on Ladybug. Ladybug claimed that Dark Moth has no control over her. She and Cat Noir made a promise to the people of Paris to keep it safe from evil, and they intend to keep it. And for what Dark Moth done, the two heroes were going to avenge Gabriel Agreste. As Ladybug swung her yo-yo at Dark Moth, he teleported away to the top of the Eiffel Tower, saying that their love and their meddling will face “the wrath of a devil”. Marinette and Adrien quickly needed to recharge as Paint Panda aka PJ Mills came in with Bunnyx, making this a short reunion with their friend, and he offered Tikki and Plagg something he made; Quick Charge Macarons for Tikki and Quick Charge Camembert for Plagg. One bite and they would be fully charged. Paint Panda then told the two heroes that they freed the captive kwamis and gathered their friends in the Miraculous Resistance for the final battle. Their friends had arrived at the Eiffel Tower, and witnessed Dark Moth atop it, saying that all will suffer his wrath. He then summoned the Hellhound, Cerberus from All Dogs Go to Heaven, revealing it as his secret weapon, and began to make an army of Miraculized demons out of the citizen’s shadows. But then, Paint Panda arrived with Bunnyx in dramatic fashion, and brought together the Miraculous Heroes and other heroes such as Majestia, Ladydragon and others in an epic clash against Dark Moth’s army. Betterfly, another Gabriel Agreste from alternate universe comes in to help the Miraculous Heroes during the battle. Marinette and Adrien then managed to transform into their respective Miraculous hero selves, and use their space power ups to turn into Cosmobug and Astrocat, taking their battle with Dark Moth elsewhere as he and his Cerberus retreated into a dimensional void. Paint Panda follows taking a space power up form as well into Space Panda. The heroes had fought and fought against Dark Moth, but he had trapped Ladybug into a corner. Just as he was going to make the final blow, Cat Noir uses his Cataclysm to destroy Dark Moth and his weapon, Cerberus, thus freeing the soul of Gabriel Agreste. As Cerberus and Dark Moth had disappeared into dust, the Miraculized demons began to disappear, and the people of Paris and their friends celebrate that peace had been restored. But the cost of victory was high as this universe’s Gabriel Agreste gave his life to save his family as Paint Panda, Ladybug and Cat Noir return to the Agreste Mansion at the repository, where the alternate universe Betterfly joins them to offer his condolences as Adrien mourns his father and mother because of what Dark Moth did. Marinette begins to comfort him. Unknown to them, the Hellhound takes this universe’s Gabriel Agreste’s ghost to see his family one last time. He then looks at them sadly, and says that he was sorry for everything he put them through as he shed a tear. The Hellhound spoke Gabriel’s name to take him, but then Nooroo comes in and he sends the Beast of the Underworld from whence it came. Nooroo then told Gabriel that he did good, giving his life for Ladybug, Cat Noir and reconciles with them. Paint Panda detransforms into PJ, and asks Gabriel, Ladybug and Cat Noir for their forgiveness for causing Paris trouble again with Dark Moth. Instead, they thank their friend for coming back and saving Paris. But now, PJ had to make sure Dark Mills would never return… and Ladybug and Cat Noir agreed that it was time, to make the Wish on their Miraculouses to activate the Miraculous Ultimate Power. Just as PJ was going to make that wish, Gabriel stepped in to make that wish. Gabriel then commands Tikki and Plagg to reveal their true forms before unifying them to summon Gimmi, the Kwami of Reality. He tells Gimmi he wants to make a wish that he had never created Dark Mills or Dark Moth, to save Emilie, to their dismay. The outcome would be that the Miraculous Heroes would never meet PJ or Inky, and Marinette being sad to see their friend go again, she begs him not to proceed. PJ tells Marinette not to be sad, and remind her and Adrien of the times they had together, and Paint Panda would return. Gabriel also tells Marinette to tell Adrien of all the good times he’s been a good father to him. After Gabriel tells Gimmi to read his heart to know his wish and then read his soul to know what he intends to sacrifice, Gimmi grants his wish. Gabriel discards the Miraculouses and the wedding rings while embracing Emilie. Marinette and Adrien cover their eyes, as PJ and Inky wave goodbye to the two heroes as the resulting explosion destroys the entire universe in a bright light as it is re-created. One month later, Adrien is awakened from his nap by a kiss from Marinette. The Resistance, Sabrina, Su-Han, Jagged, Penny, Luka, Kagami and Félix are all having a pool party at the Agreste mansion, which is covered in beautiful greenery during a sunny day. Placide offers Amelie and Nathalie (who is alive and well) a drink, and a news broadcast begins as Alec, on his new programme "Nouveau Monde", has a new exclusive interview with Caline Bustier, who is the new elected mayoress of Paris, and her newborn daughter Harmonie. Mayoress Bustier says that Paris will be eco-friendly under her "Eco Rule". She then unveils a statue of Gabriel Agreste, which was created by melting and reforging the Alliance rings for who is said to have sacrificed himself to save Paris, while Tomoe will be taking over the Agreste brand. The Mayoress also plans to open a new high school, that will allow its students to learn any subject at any time. After everyone leaves, Marinette asks Adrien if he is not going to wear his parents' rings, which Ladybug gave him while honoring Gabriel's final request. Adrien admits not knowing if he will be like his father, but Marinette tells him to be himself as they embrace and kiss. Then, there was a gust of wind, leaving a note for Marinette and Adrien saying, “Always keep your power of love strong. Signed Paint Panda.” Albeit they don’t remember that name, Marinette thought it sounded familiar somehow, as Paint Panda watched them from afar as he left with the Future Bunnyx. A few weeks later in August, Nadja reports on the news states that summer break will end and the next school year will begin very soon. Meanwhile, in Marinette's room, she is working on creating the mini miracle boxes with the recovered Miraculous spellbook while Alya and Su-Han watch over her. The Kwamis are happy to have all their respective Miraculous back to normal, and Marinette was able to find Nooroo and the Butterfly Miraculous. However, she declares that whatever happens, they will be prepared to face any future threats. Marinette recalls her mistake of keeping all the Miraculouses in one place and, considering that she lost all of them when her yo-yo was stolen by Flairmidable and Gabriel, when they were being used by Dark Moth, she decides to entrust the current members of French Miraculous superhero team with their respective Miraculous and kwami on a permanent basis, as "in order to ensure power is only used for the greater good, it needs to be shared." Ladybug meets up with Cat Noir on a rooftop as they are joined by Team Miraculous, and the new addition of Argos, as they jump off into another adventure. Later, Mr. Damocles sets up his new office as the high school principal when he receives a call from an anonymous source inquiring of attending the school and Damocles agrees to see the new student later. Cerise Bianca, contacting the principal from the Catacombs of La Plage, closes her computer and puts Dark Moth’s copy of the Butterfly Miraculous on while looking forward to meeting Marinette again in the next school year. She is caught off guard by a bright light, leaving her fate unknown. In the end, Ladybug and Cat Noir appear on the rooftop at night during patrol on Halloween, and de-transform to Marinette and Adrien, talking about their recent battle with a villain stronger than Hawk Moth that they strangely remember. Marinette even recounts on having to fight an evil clone of Ladybug to Adrien. He asks if she’s worried they might come back, but Marinette realizes that their home is worth defending, and no matter what happens, they’ll be ready for their next adventure. The two then kissed under the full moon, as Inky the Panda Kwami began to wave at the audience, breaking the fourth wall and flies into the night sky, turning into a star. The events will be similar to the events between Season 4 and 5 of the Miraculous series.
