Question: Write the story where the human from Earth was kidnapped by a group of skeksis (from The Dark Crystal franchise) and brought into a lab somewhere in the Castle of the Crystal on the planet Thra before being strapped into an essence-draining machinery, before the human's essence is completely drained by the skeksis with the skeksis' essence-draining machine, making the human himself/herself vanish and leaving his/her liquid essence in the bottle for the skeksis to drink, and have the skeksis drink it allow these skeksis to have temporary rejuvenation, strength, and enhanced lifespan (all like what the gelfling essence due to the skeksis). There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking.
The Castle of the Crystal loomed ominously over the land of Thra, its jagged spires piercing the dark sky above. Deep within its labyrinthine halls, where shadows seemed to cling to the walls like malevolent spirits, an eerie silence was punctuated by the occasional drip of some unseen liquid or a distant, unsettling hum. In a dimly lit laboratory, decorated with grotesque instruments and ancient, foreboding machinery, a group of Skeksis gathered around their latest acquisition – a human from Earth. The human lay strapped onto a cold, metallic table, the rough restraints biting into their wrists and ankles. The human's eyes fluttered open, taking in the horrific sight of the Skeksis. These avian-reptilian creatures, adorned in extravagant yet decaying robes, loomed above with sinister glee. "Look what we have here!" sneered SkekSil, the Chamberlain, his voice dripping with malevolence. "A being from another world! Truly, the cracks in the crystal have brought us fortune." "Yes," hissed SkekTek, the Scientist, who adjusted a pair of monocles resting precariously on his hooked beak. "Imagine the possibilities. If Gelfling essence grants us such power, what might we gain from this... human?" The human struggled against the restraints, heart pounding with terror. "Where am I?!" they shouted, their voice cracked and desperate. "What are you going to do to me?" "Silence!" growled SkekUng, the Garthim-Master, slamming a clawed fist onto a nearby table. "You will speak only when spoken to, human." SkekTek stepped forward, a cruel smile curving his thin lips. "We will drain your essence, mortal, and we shall see how it empowers the mighty Skeksis!" With a flick of his talon, SkekTek activated the essence-draining machine. The apparatus, a nightmarish contraption of gears, tubes, and crystal fragments, came to life with a deafening whirr. Crystal-clear tubes snaked their way towards the human, locking onto their temples. The human could feel their strength ebbing away, a cold numbness spreading through their limbs as the machine began its dreadful work. Their vision blurred, consciousness slipping with each agonizing second. SkekSil leaned in close, his breath foul and hot. "Drink deeply, my brothers. Drink of the essence of this peculiar creature, and let it fill us with vigor and life!" The machine emitted a high-pitched whine as a glowing, ethereal substance was siphoned from the human's body, the liquid essence channeling into a crystalline vial. With every drop extracted, the human's form waned, becoming more and more insubstantial until, finally, they vanished completely, leaving only their essence behind. SkekTek carefully removed the vial from the machine, holding it up high for all to see. "Behold! The essence of a human. A new source of vitality for us!" One by one, the Skeksis took turns drinking from the vial, their expressions twisted in ecstasy as the essence coursed through their veins. Their aged and decrepit bodies seemed to swell with newfound energy, their cracked and brittle beaks and claws regaining a fleeting shine. "Ah, the power!" exclaimed SkekUng, flexing his rejuvenated muscles. "I can feel it... strength returning to my bones!" "Indeed," purred SkekSil, his voice smooth and buttery. "This essence grants us much... perhaps even more than the Gelfling's. How remarkable." SkekTek wiped his blood-stained talons with a tattered cloth, his eyes gleaming with mad curiosity. "We must gather more of these humans. Imagine the power we could wield!" The Skeksis cackled sinisterly, their voices mingling in a chorus of malicious delight, as they reveled in their temporary rejuvenation. At the same time, in some dark, forgotten corner of the universe, another human unknowingly drew closer to a fate most cruel. In the Castle of the Crystal, there was no hope; only the relentless hunger of the Skeksis and the insidious glow of the darkened crystal that fed it.
