There would also likely be an increase in calls for tighter regulation of the tech sector in an attempt to prevent attacks like this from happening again. In addition, there would likely be a significant increase in international cooperation to try and prevent similar attacks in the future. Finally, the public would be calling for justice for the victims and would likely be demanding that the hacker be brought to justice as soon as possible.
