Question: Write a POV transformation story of an average male human reader turning into a male mermaid complete with a mermaid's necklace, a fish tail (instead of human legs), both gills and lungs, fish-like fins instead of ears, thin and lean yet athletic body, handsome and ethereal-looking face, no facial hair on the lower half of his face (he keeps his eyelashes and eyebrows however), pale skin, beautifully-colored irises in his eyes, and long hair complete with age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to being immortal and forever youthful, as well as being able to swim with his newfound tail effortlessly), language shift (changing from English to an mermaid's language, yet the reader now completely understood this new language whilst no longer remembering English), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming the fantasy medieval world filled with mythical creatures, more specifically, in an ocean since he's a mermaid now), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with an mermaid's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a mortal human and only remember being an mermaid). The transformation is permanent (meaning it is forever) and is completely irreversible. The story is that the reader was visiting a museum containing very old books and other historical artifacts, where the reader finds a book that is all about medieval fantasy creatures, he then opens the book, causing the blinding light to engulf him and thus caused the whole transformation to occur. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human (as well as completely forgetting his previous language, with English instantly changing to an mermaid's language during mid-sentence), so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends, crying out in tears, as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging/invading elven memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mortal and mundane human life and he only remembers being a medieval-era mermaid (complete with a new name fitting for a mermaid, rather than an old human name he once remembered having), having remembered his training with his own trident, on war with sea witches, marriage to a mermaid woman, and himself being a mermaid. To aid in the now-mermaid reader's transforming mind, the mermaid elf from a nearby undersea kingdom (who caused the book to transport the reader into a medieval world and transformed into an mermaid himself) comes up to the reader and comforts him with a gentle hug, softly holding the transforming reader's hands, an affectionate true love's kiss, quietly singing an elven lullaby to the reader, and telling him to remember who he really is (an mermaid), making the reader realize that the mermaid woman comforting him is his caring, understanding, and loving wife (whom the mermaid reader truly loves, cares, and understands, having always known her), and the reader is genuinely happy to know that his previous human life was actually only a dream (he is completely unaware of ever being a mortal/human nor the transformation that had happened) and is happy that his life as an mermaid (he enjoys being with his mermaid wife, whom he married centuries ago) is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Not only that, but there should be quotes in mermaid's language (as well as the translations for those who don't know what those mermaid's words mean), even the reader's language shift during his panic. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
You escape the noise of the bustling city, your refuge being the hushed corridors of the museum brimming with history and mythical legends. Drawn to a centuries-old display, you carefully inspect a book amidst the collection, the worn leather cover featuring intricate engravings of mythical creatures who once roamed the world. Curiosity piqued, you take a deeper look, opening the weathered pages. Suddenly, a blinding light engulfs you. For a moment, the world swirls around in an array ofcolors. As the light dissipates, reality shifts. The city gives way to expansive, endless seas, the museum replaced by a vast underwater kingdom. Your body feels profoundly foreign. Instead of legs, a sleek and powerful tail propels you through the water with effortless grace. Gills subtly pulsate on the sides of your neck, filtering oxygen from the water, although you can still breathe through your lungs when needed. You glide your hands along the contours of your face, noticing the thin and lean build, bereft of any facial hair except for your eyelashes and eyebrows. Touching the sides of your head, you instead feel fish-like fins in place of your ears. Your skin, once of normal human hue, is now imbued with a mystical pale tone and your eyes reflect the living currents of the sea, having beautifully colored irises. Your hair, growing longer than you ever had it before, magnificently swaying with your every movement. Looking down, you notice an ethereal necklace on your chest, resonating an unseen yet comforting energy. In the middle of this colorful new world, the realization starts setting in, pushing its tidal wave of terror deep within you. You try to yell for your family, for anyone that might recognize the lost soul you feel inside but soon your own sentence changes. "Help! Please, someone...Raushol, terlnagan!" The end of your cry sounds foreign, slightly musical but entirely out of your vocabulary. Panic and desperation make a bitter cocktail, consumed all at once. You’re a fish out of water - or rather, a man-turned-fish in water. You vehemently shake your head, hoping to dispel the onslaught of new memories. But the past waves crash on the shores of your consciousness, wedding ceremonies with a beautiful mermaid, combat using a trident, conflicts with sea witches. Out of the swirling multitude of undersea citizens, one mermaid floats towards you. Her eyes kindled with deep empathy and affection looking at you. She draws closer, her movements like poetry in water. Your heart pounds harder, recognizing her. “Tenebra, itsantar nidröl,” she speaks. It's soothing, it's calming. It's like a lullaby that sways your turbulent mind towards tranquility. You start to realize, she's your wife. In her arms, you find solace and in her kiss, you find confirmation. She gently holds your hand and whispers, "Remember who you truly are." Those words channel the tempest of your thoughts, you are not a man floundering in the sea but a mermaid exploring its depths. The memories of your human life begin to feel like distant dreams - dreams fading with each passing moment. Your panic recedes, your fear dissipates. Your heart finally settles knowing you were not meant for the land but the sea. For in your wife's smile, you do not see the stranger from the museum, but the man who had pledged eternal love to her centuries ago - true and immortal. The previous world - the city, the museum, the man mirror, those feel more fictional than the mermaids now. Comforted in her embrace, the integration of your transformation finally feels complete, a permanent and irreversible shift. Your last thought as being a human dissolves away, replaced by the reassessment of your identity with certainty. You are not a human, but a mermaid - a role you vow to fulfill with the renewed pride, happiness, and love that fills your every heartbeat.
