Question: Write a POV transformation story of the male human reader turning into a fantasy elf complete with a tunic, a cape, long boots, leather gloves, pointy elven ears, handsome and ethereal-looking face, no facial hair on the lower half of his face (he keeps his eyelashes and eyebrows however), pale skin, and long blonde hair (not a Christmas elf, fantasy elf) complete with age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to being immortal), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming the fantasy medieval world), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with an elf's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a mortal human and only remember being an elf). The story is that the reader was visiting a museum containing very old books and other historical artifacts, where the reader finds a book about medieval fantasy creatures, he then opens the book, causing the blinding light to engulf him and thus caused the whole transformation to occur. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human, so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends, crying out in tears, as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging elven memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mortal and mundane human life and he only remembers being a medieval-era elf (complete with a new name fitting for an elf, rather than an old human name he once remembered having), with him happy to know that his previous life was only a dream and his life as an elf is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
As you step into the ancient tranquillity of the museum— a haven of knowledge and relics from the past— your eyes scan the room for something that catches your fancy. A seemingly unremarkable book about medieval fantasy creatures lying on a dusty, forgotten corner catches your eye. Intrigued, you walk over and pick it up, your interest piqued. With tentative hands, you crack it open, unleashing a blinding light that immediately engulfs you entirely. Your eyes flicker shut against the severity of the light. After a few moments, the light fades, and you hesitantly open your eyes, but something is different. Your surroundings that were once filled with ancient artifacts are now replaced with a fantastical forest, TV screens transforming into towering trees, and polished floors into a rough leafy terrain. Taking a moment to collect your thoughts, you look down. Instead of jeans and a hoodie, you find yourself adorned in a finely crafted tunic, a cape, long boots, and leather gloves. Confused and terrified, you reach up to touch your face, your fingers finding pointy, elf-like ears instead of the soft rounded human ones. Staring into a polished silver mirror, you hardly recognize the ethereally handsome face reflected back. With pale skin, long blonde hair, and not a trace of facial hair on the lower part of your face, you would be mistaken for a fantasy Elf. Panic begins filling your chest as the implications of what's happening manifest. The ageless face reflected back at you belongs to a creature that is immortally young and quite unlike your human self. Your previous mundane existence, the monotonous daily grind, has somehow been obliterated and replaced with the life of a timeless creature. As you stagger through the unfamiliar reality, your mind starts to unravel memories that never belonged to you before. Familiarities of medieval life, mastery over nature, an innate knowledge of magical workings start bubbling up to the surface. Terrified, you scream for your family, for help, your voice echoing hollow in the vast forest. The memories of your human life are fading away rapidly, giving way to an entirely new reality you never thought existed. Scared of the impending mental transition and loss of your human identity, you attempt to shake off these emerging elven memories, clinging desperately to the fragments of your past. Tears stinging your eyes as you fight against the flow of information. With each passing minute, your human life seems more like a distant dream, rapidly being replaced by your new identity. Despite your efforts to retain your humanity, the mind of the elf overshadows your own. A seamless switch, your old name fades into oblivion, replaced by an elvish name that feels more familiar on your tongue. Your initial horror is steadily replaced with a strange contentment. There's relief as your new elven nature soothes your turmoil. A sad smile tugs your lips as you accept your fate, realizing that your past human life was just a dream, an illusion. Your elven instincts start taking over, finally welcoming your transformation. You explore the forest, a newfound joy for this magical world shimmering in your eyes. You are an elf, caught between shifting realities, now breathing life into your own. The mortal worries of your past are long gone, your only reality is the timeless one you're in now.
