Question: Write a POV transformation story of the average male human reader (about 6 feet tall) turning into a male gelfling (from The Dark Crystal franchise) castle guard from the Stonewood Clan, complete with slight height regression, age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to dreamfasting, dream space ability, and dream etching), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming an the world of The Dark Crystal, albeit in an alternate timeline where the skeksis were fully defeated and the gelflings remain widespread and thriving), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with a gelfling's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a human and only remember being a gelfling). The transformation is permanent (meaning it is forever) and is completely irreversible. For the male gelfling reader's appearance (after the reader turned into him), he is like other gelflings; having four-fingered hands (rather than five unlike his previous human self), slenderly built, and with wide, triangular face tapering to a pointed chin. He also has large, wide eyes that are set apart on either side of a flattish nose. He has long dark brown (almost black) hair, from which his large, pointed ears protrudes. He wears an outfit very much like the other castle guard gelflings. For his personality, he is comfortable in both a Landstrider saddle and a former-Skeksis carriage, and is a moderately skilled lute player. A skilled warrior, the gelfling reader favors swords and spears in battle, and is proficient enough to best skeksis in single combat. The story is that the reader was minding his own business, but then his reality started to change almost instantly, leaving him on the planet of Thra (more specifically, the Castle of the Crystal) rather than on Earth in his suburban home; albeit in an alternate Dark Crystal timeline where the skeksis have been truly defeated by the heroic gelflings, rather than the gelflings being almost extinct as in the main timeline. After all of that happened, his body and mind transformation occurs next. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human, so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends, crying out in tears, as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging/invading gelfling memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mundane human life and he only remembers being a gelfling (complete with a new name fitting for an gelfling, rather than an old human name he once remembered having). To aid in the now-gelfling reader's transforming mind, a beautiful female gelfling castle guard comes up to the reader and comforts him with a gentle hug, an affectionate kiss, and telling him to remember who he really is (a gelfling), making the reader realize that the gelfling woman comforting him is his caring, understanding, and loving wife (whom the gelfling reader truly loves, cares, and understands, having always known her), and the reader is genuinely happy to know that his previous human life was only a daydream (he is completely unaware of ever being a human) and is happy that his life as a gelfling (where he enjoys being with his gelfling wife) is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Not only that, but there should be quotes in elven language (as well as the translations for those who don't know what those elven words mean), even the reader's language shift during his panic. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
You sit on the comfortable couch in your suburban home, browsing through your favorite streaming platform, idly scrolling through new releases. Sighing, you glance out the window. The sun is setting, casting an orange glow over your neighborhood. Everything seems so mundane. Suddenly, the world begins to blur. Vision distorting, you clutch the armrest, feeling your body grow cold. Objects in your surroundings ripple, twisting and blending until they are unrecognizable. You gasp, struggling to understand what's happening. The transformation begins. Your height decreases slightly, skin tightening around reshaping bones. Fingers reduce to four, becoming slender and agile. Your face changes, no longer human but gelfling—the wide, triangular face tapering to a pointed chin, large eyes set far apart, a flattish nose. Long dark brown hair cascades past your shoulders, ears growing and protruding. "W-What is happening to me?" you stammer, voice higher-pitched now, almost musical. Panic seizes you even more as your clothing shifts, transforming into the garb of a Stonewood Clan castle guard. Your suburban home no longer surrounds you; instead, you find yourself standing within the imposing walls of the Castle of the Crystal. Reality itself has changed, and you are terrified. "This can't be real!" you scream, voice echoing off the stone walls. "Please, someone, help me!" Your desperate cries go unanswered as a new layer of confusion settles. Memories not your own flood your mind—training in swordsmanship, camaraderie with other gelfling guards, and visions of triumphant battles against skeksis. You struggle against them with all your might, shaking your head fiercely to cling to your slipping humanity. "No! I'm not a gelfling!" You clasp your head, gritting teeth as tears flow down your cheeks. "I am... I was... Please! I don't want to forget!" But the memories are relentless, a tide washing away everything you knew, everything you were. A particularly vivid memory surges forth: you in a Landstrider saddle, racing across the landscape with the wind in your face. "Elfora," you hear a gentle, female voice say, breaking through your turmoil. "Elfora, remember who you are." You turn to see a beautiful female gelfling castle guard approaching you, her eyes full of understanding and compassion. She envelops you in a warm hug, her embrace sending a wave of calm over your fracturing mind. "Udi jhi zaf Etolis," she whispers, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. ("You are truly Etolis.") Your resistance weakens as her words ring true, sparking recognition that feels ancient and unshakable. "Etolis," you repeat, the name resonating deeply within you. It feels right, familiar, your own. "No! I'm not... I was... human!" Your voice cracks, eyes shutting tight as tears continue. "Please, I don't want to forget them!" Her hug tightens, voice more insistent yet still kind. "Jhi etholis, jhi tay atholi," she continues. ("You are a gelfling, always and forever.") As her words sink in, memories of a mundane human life dissolve like mist. The panic ebbs away, replaced by tranquility. Opening your eyes, you look at her—your wife—whom you have always known, always loved. "Thank you, my love," you say, newfound confidence and trust lacing your words. "I am Etolis, and I am home." Your previous life drifts away, remnants of a forgotten dream. Holding this gelfling woman close, all you remember is her love, the crystal's light, and the thriving world of Thra. Together, you walk through the castle hand-in-hand, ready to continue your life as Etolis, the stonewood castle guard, at peace with who you truly are.
