Kate breathed a sigh of relief when suddenly, the lights dimmed, throwing them into darkness. “Guys, lights are out! Be careful!” Henry’s voice crackled through the headset. As they fumbled through the dark, a horrifying chomping noise echoed. The emergency button, their lifeline to call meetings and discuss their suspicions, had been eaten! Without it, they had no way to call each other together and couldn’t perform eliminations the traditional way. Biffle sprinted through the corridors, trying to fix the lights. Just as he flicked the final switch, a scream resonated through the ship. “PATP’s gone!” Henry’s voice was frantic. “I saw Ssundee devouring his body in Medbay!” “You know what that means,” Biffle said, gulping. “The body can’t be revived now. We need to complete our tasks quickly or hope the Sheriff can shoot Ssundee.” “I’m on it!” Kate, who was the Sheriff, quietly drew her blaster, eyes darting around as she crept through the spaceship’s hallways. Meanwhile, Ssundee was having a blast with his new abilities, weaving fear among the crew. With the emergency button gone and bodies vanishing, the tension was palpable. With each step Ssundee took, the ambient tension climbed a notch higher. As Ssundee turned a corner near Communications, Kate didn’t hesitate. With the precision of a seasoned Sheriff, she fired her blaster. The blast lit up the hallway, directly hitting Ssundee. The monster let out a triumphant laugh, quickly dissolving to reveal his crewmate avatar. The sudden disappearance of the monster sent ripples of relief through the survivors. “Well played, Kate!” Lookumz cheered through his mic. “That was intense.” “You guys were amazing,” Ssundee’s voice returned to his usual friendly tone. “What a wild ride!
