Their shocked expressions were something Candace would always harbor in her memory. Despite the initial reluctance, the boys playfully surrendered to their older sister's idea. Candace fed them mushy baby food, which was a combination of sweet carrots and creamed peas, a substantial difference from the boys' usual diet, but they didn't seem to mind. Next, Candace served them milk in a baby bottle, the rubber nipple throwing them off guard. The boys giggled and squirted all over their bibs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, sipping air-tea and discussing imaginary adventures. As the day wound to a close, Candace and their friends tucked Phineas and Ferb into dwarfing cribs, complete with mobiles and night lamps. Isabella whispered, "Goodnight, babies," before they switched off the lights, leaving the night lamp casting dancing figures on the ceiling.
