7 years ago Do what works best for you, but here’s what I did. I just sent one invitation out to the parents and siblings of both bride and groom. I used this format in the invitation: “Your presence is requested at the wedding of [bride] and [groom] on Saturday, November 16 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon [venue name] [city], [state] [RSVP information] Parents and siblings are invited to attend.” I included a separate reply card with a “number of guests attending” section on it, so that the parents and siblings could indicate how many people would be attending. I also included a note saying that if they needed additional cards to indicate their other guests, they should contact me directly and I would mail them out. I had a few people who needed additional cards, and I also had a few people who didn’t respond at all, but overall it worked out pretty well.
