Question: Story: Write me a story about 12 year old Hayden scrolling through the channels on his TV trying to find a show to watch. He suddenly came across a show interviewing Jazz Jennings; the famous transgender activist. Not interested in anything related to the show, he said how weird it was for the boy to think he was a girl when he was born a boy before changing the channel. Out of nowhere, his vision grew hazy and he passed out. Waking up in his living room, he felt taller and older. Sitting up, he looked down to see his body looked distinctly female. Running to a nearby mirror, he gasped at his new reflection. He was now Jazz Jennings and was extremely confused. Asking out loud why this was happening. He freaked out at what his parents would think when they arrived home. He just wished for things to be back to normal. Suddenly, he felt his memories shifting and changing and started panicking. Begging whatever was causing this to stop, he pleaded out loud but to no avail. Soon, his thoughts changed, altered, shifted and matured until he only remembered being Jazz Jennings. The new Jazz Jennings opened her eyes looking around the room confused wondering what she was doing again. She looked down at her outfit before walking over to the mirror. Jazz smiled and grinned uncontrollably at herself as she admired how good she looked. Jazz said the quote "Can't remember what I was doing again but for some reason this outfit I chose just looks so cute. I know it's something I wear a lot but I'm just overjoyed at the fact I get to be the woman I know I was meant to. My name is Jazz Jennings" as she put her hands on her hips and posed at herself suddenly wondering whose house she was in before quickly leaving and having no memory of being 12 year old Hayden.
Once upon a time on a lazy Sunday, young Hayden, all of 12 years old, was mindlessly channel hopping on his television set. He found everything on offer to be unbelievably uninteresting and mind-numbing. Suddenly, his remote pointed to a show with an interview with Jazz Jennings. Recognizing her as a famous transgender activist, he reacted, "How odd is it for a boy to consider himself as a girl?" Shaking his head, he reverted to his channel hopping. Just as he was about to roll his eyes at yet another rerun, his vision went blurry, and he slumped forward, into darkness. Startled awake, Hayden found himself sprawled across the living room floor. He felt different - taller, older. As he sat up, an unfamiliar reflection caught the corner of his eye. To his absolute horror, the mirror morphed his image into something startlingly female. He scrambled to his feet, rushing to the said mirror, where his new form stared back at him. Large, expressive eyes of Jazz Jennings greeted him, causing him to gasp in disbelief. "Why is this happening to me?" Hayden questioned aloud, his voice tense. His new form sent waves of confusion down his spine. Imagining his parents’ faces on seeing him like this, he wished fervently for a return to normalcy. But before he could muster his thoughts, he felt his memories swirl and change drastically. He clasped his head, begging, pleading for this surreal experience to end. Despite his pleas, however, the shift continued. As the final veil of transformation fell, Hayden's youthful thoughts and wonder were replaced with the mature, confident essence of Jazz Jennings. Her eyes fluttered open to face the mirror once again, this time acknowledging her reflection with an expression of endearing confusion. Momentarily disoriented, she took a moment to admire her outfit and her reflection in the mirror. Grinning uncontrollably, she exclaimed, "Can't seem to remember what I was supposed to be doing, but goodness, this outfit is adorable! I know I wear it quite often, but I'm just so thrilled to embrace the woman I was meant to be! Hi, I am Jazz Jennings!" She shifted her stance to put her hands on her hips, striking a pose that made her giggle with delight. Suddenly aware of her unfamiliar surroundings, she paused, her brows furrowed. She quickly shrugged off the uneasy feeling, exited the strange house, and moved on with her day with no memory of having once been 12-year-old Hayden.
