"Mommy!"

Once upon a time, in a bustling local mall, lived a curious 5-year-old boy named Isaiah. While visiting the mall one day, he found himself in the women's restroom with his mom and far too tired to stay awake, he fell asleep on the stall. Young Isaiah, who had quite a vivid imagination, wished for an adventurous dream before his eyes finally shut. However, when he woke, his dream had crossed into reality. To his astonishment, he turned invisible and his mom was nowhere to be found. Walking through the stall was possible, making him realize that he could now walk through things. Suddenly, the restroom door creaked open. A woman in her forties, donned in a sundress, a hat and wedges, meandered in, leading two kids by her side. Isaiah cringed, afraid that the woman would be mad at him for being in the women's restroom. However, to the now invisible boy's relief, she did not seem to acknowledge his presence. With the newfound freedom, Isaiah comfortably lounged in the stall that was now wide open. But, things took a swift turn when the woman opened the stall he was in. He braced himself, half-expecting to be scolded, yet nothing happened. He existed, yet not disappointingly to the woman. He watched with wide eyes as she sat down. Suddenly, Isaiah’s world spun. The surrounding switched and his vision blurred, when they refocused, he found himself waking up groggily. Rubbing his eyes, he whispered a surprised and somewhat mature sounding "Mommy". Confusion swirled in his mind as he looked down to see the same sundress and wedges the lady had been wearing. New found fear swept over him as he started wobbling in the large wedges, with the edges of the sundress skimming the bathroom floor. He struggled to hold back his tears, as he felt overwhelmed by the unexpected situation. He didn’t understand why he was now appearing as the woman from his invisible episode. Then he remembered a phrase his mother always said, "You can always learn something new from every experience". It took some time for him to adjust, but Isaiah was a brave boy. He decided to take this as one of his great adventures he had only dreamed of, chuckled at the irony, dried his eyes, and decided to venture into the day with newfound courage in his heart. He always wanted an adventure, and he surely seemed to be living one now!
