Lana's journey from house-sitting to getting away with stealing Dave's money.

Once upon a time in a quiet suburban town lived a 16-year-old Dave, a responsible teenager often entrusted by his friends and their parents to house sit when they were out of town. This particular weekend, Dave was at his friend Sal's house. Sal had left Dave with some food and money for necessities, trusting Dave entirely to take care of the house. Suddenly Sal's 22-year-old sister Lana walked in, a striking young woman who had always lived on her own terms. Her relationship with her family was strained, and she would often clash with them. She lived with her boyfriend Adam, who didn’t seem to provide adequately for Lana's lifestyle. On spotting the unattended money, Lana grabbed hold of it saying, "Perfect. Gonna get my nails done with this since Adam won't provide for me." With that, she briskly marched upstairs intending to take a quick shower. Dave was both taken aback and wary at Lana’s abrupt behavior. Seeing the money unattended, he decided to hide it from Lana, uncomfortable with her intentions of wasting it on frivolities. He took quick steps along the hallway, accidentally slipping his feet into Lana's black flats left on the floor. Groaning at the sight of his feet squeezed into the tiny flats, Dave kicked them off with disgust. In that bizarre moment, his feet seemed to mysteriously shrink and take on the appearance of Lana's petite feet, complete with her signature red nail polish. A wave of panic rushed over him as he blurted out, "Gross, I got Lana's feet. I don't wanna be a girly girl". More changes swiftly followed. His height decreased, his hair morphed into Lana’s dark rich brown, his eyes changed to brown, and his fingernails were flushed into the same red as Lana's. The money slipped from his nerveless fingers, scattering on the floor. Rushing to the bathroom to get a look at himself, Dave discovered that his transformation into Lana was complete. There was no sign of the real Lana, and his memory started to falter, only replaced by snippets from Lana's life. His attire shifted into her typical outfit of a short skirt and a pink shirt. The new Lana, formerly Dave, looked around the unfamiliar surroundings with a perplexed expression. "What has even happened to me?", she thought aloud. Spotting Lana's flats, she moved towards them and delicately put them on, heaving a sigh at the remarkable fit. She then swept up the scattered money, tucking it into her shirt pocket saying, "I didn't realize it was this much. A woman needs to look her best, and Adam has been a bad boyfriend lately.” With a final glance around the house, Lana decided to leave, thankful for her luck. As she left the house, she felt an odd sense of triumph as she disappeared into the sundown, happy she got away without getting caught by her younger brother's friend, who seemed to have mysteriously disappeared.
