Inside was a small, shiny ring. He looked at her earnestly and said, "This is a promise ring, it means I want us to start dating." Just as Kristi was about to respond, the door swung open, and Larry's 36-year-old mom, Cathy, walked in. She saw the ring and gasped, her eyes shining. Before Kristi could speak, Cathy took the ring, explaining how it looked just like a ring she had lost somewhere around the house.
