, the evil cat from the Disney movie. My first instinct is to hide! I quickly scurry into one of the bushes near the house and try to stay as still and quiet as possible. I can see Darren prowling around, looking for me, but I remain hidden. I slowly back away and sneak around the side of the house, making sure that I'm out of Darren's line of sight. I race across the yard, behind the shed, and into a nearby tree. From up in the tree, I can see the whole yard and even Darren's tail as he walks around looking for me. I know I'm safe up here and I stay in the tree until I know Darren is gone. When I'm sure the coast is clear, I quickly go back home and hide in my bed. I breathe a sigh of relief and make a mental note never to go outside at night again!
