Headless Horror Story

Once upon a time there lived a man without a head. He had been born with his brain inside his abdomen and since his skull and head were unnecessary, he had cut it off himself. Though a strange sight to behold, he seemed to live a normal life. He worked during the day and went about his errands as if nothing were unusual about him. At night, however, he took on a rather different persona. People in the village began to notice that a mysterious figure roamed around the streets after sundown and seemed to be always following them, no matter where they went. Though he never tried to hurt anyone, the villagers found his presence to be highly disturbing and feared what he was capable of. One night, a group of brave villagers decided to confront the man without a head and ask him why he was doing this. He sadly told them that he was just looking for someone to accept him and understand his condition. He had been alone and ostracized by all his life, and did not know any better. The villagers felt sympathy for him and agreed to let him stay in their village. Unfortunately, this was not meant to last. Weeks later, the man without a head was found dead, with no leads as to who or what could’ve killed him. Though no one ever found out who was responsible for his death, the villagers
