Once upon a time, 16-year-old James was at home, taking on the responsibility of babysitting his seven-year-old sister, Harper, while their mother was away on a business trip. It was late at night when James was startled by loud noises downstairs. Assuming it was Harper, he began walking towards the stairs. But to his horror, he noticed strangers ransacking their house. Full of fear, James stealthily turned, running back in the direction of Harper's room. He found her peacefully asleep, totally oblivious to the chaos unfolding below. As he turned to lock Harper's door, protecting them both, he accidentally slipped into Harper's strap-on sandals. Grossed out, he hastily kicked them off. However, something odd happened next. James began experiencing a tingling feeling – his feet were altering, shrinking, and looking exactly like Harper’s. Freaking out and overwhelmed with the sudden change, James cringed at the thought of becoming Harper. Before he could even resist, the changes started going beyond control. His arms, legs, and body feminized and shrunk, mirroring Harper’s. His grip faltered and he dropped his phone, which slipped out of his hands and crashed onto the floor. His facial features softened, his brown hair turned golden blonde and curled at the nape of his neck, his eyes became wide and blue and his voice became high-pitched. Suddenly, he found himself in a pink dress, a baby doll held in his newly little arms. Turning around to Harper's bed, he gasped - she was fading into a mist, almost as if evaporating. As Harper disappeared, James was hit by a realization – he was becoming Harper's replacement. James' memories began to warp - every trace of his adolescent life was simplified, changed, and replaced by Harper's innocent memories until he only remembered being Harper. Suddenly, he found himself floating in the air, landing gently in the bed in the very spot Harper was last seen. In mere seconds, the new Harper opened her baby blue eyes. She yawned and stretched her arms, got out of bed and slipped on her strap-on sandals, lacing a tiara atop her curly golden hair. Unbeknownst to her, she had picked up the broken cell phone that had belonged to James, throwing it away without a second thought. Suddenly, she wanted juice. As she unlocked her bedroom door, she spotted unfamiliar faces downstairs, and fear instantly gripped her. She ran back into her room, locked the door, and hid under the bed, shaking with fear, anxiously awaited her mother's return. As far as she was concerned, she was Harper – not a trace of being 16-year-old James remained.
