Question: Story: Write me a story about Greg Heffley from Diary Of A Wimpy Kid getting invited over to Holly Hills' home. Sensing the opportunity to finally get his first kiss is approaching, he quickly asks his mom who is the only one besides him and his little brother Manny that is home. Dressed in her summer outfit with her hat on and her flip flops, she declines Greg's request to go to Holly's and said the quote "You gotta help me watch Manny at the beach. You can go to Holly's some other time honey" Greg persists and begs her to go to Holly's and Susan declines. Susan then said the quote "I actually need you to hold something for me" putting her hand out to Greg. Greg can't see what is in her hand but goes to grab it from his mom. As he does, Susan pulls him into a tight bear hug. Greg feels dizzy and his hug around his mom suddenly feels different. Once he is let go, he opens his eyes and immediately notices he is now wearing glasses. Looking down at his body, his eyes widen when he notices he is now wearing his mom's summer clothes. Approaching a nearby mirror, he stares at reflection is he his mom's confused face looking back at him. Turning around, he sees his own body and said the quote "Mom? Are you in there? Did we switch bodies?" before covering his mouth shocked to hear he now had his mom's voice. Susan in her son's body smiled as she said the quote "Yes honey, we did switch bodies and before you ask, we are not switching back. Say goodbye to your childhood and Holly. I'll be erasing your memories now" before grabbing her purse and placing it on Greg's newly female shoulder. Greg said the quote "Ew mom, don't put your purse on me" when his memories suddenly change completely until he only remembered himself as Susan. The new Susan not remembering ever being Greg suddenly smiled at her son and said the quote "Oh honey, thank you for grabbing my purse for me. You're acting very mature about not being able to go to Holly's. I'm very proud of you" before pulling her car keys out of her purse and yelling for Manny to come out to the kitchen. The real Susan in Greg's body was satisfied with the spell. She could live her life young all over again and her son would spend the rest of his life believing he was Susan.
Once upon a time, Greg Heffley, our notorious Wimpy Kid, lived a relatively simple life filled with homework, neighborhood children shenanigans, and an underlying crush on the ever-popular Holly Hills. Greg's life was about to get much more complicated when he received an exciting invitation to spend the afternoon at Holly Hills' house. This could be it, he thought; he could finally get his first kiss. Given the opportunity, Greg hastily sought his mother Susan's permission. Clad in her summer dressing, with a sunhat shielding her face and flip flops adorning her feet, she was in no mood for Greg's grand escapade. "You gotta help me watch Manny at the beach. You can go to Holly's some other time honey," she said, thwarting Greg's hopes. Undeterred, Greg persisted, his romantic youthful dreams urging him to beg. But Susan remained firm. With a sigh, she extended her hand, holding something out of Greg’s sight, “I actually need you to hold something for me." Trustingly, Greg reached out, only to be pulled into a bear hug so intense, it left him dizzy. As he regained his equilibrium, something felt different. He squinted under the usual prescription he had become accustomed to since wearing glasses. Then Greg looked down on himself, and his heart skipped a beat. He was sporting his mother's summer attire! Confused, he raced to the nearby mirror, and looking back at him was his mother's face wearing a confused expression. Greg swiftly turned around, finding his own body there, now home to his mother's soul. Did they switch bodies? He voiced his concern, "Mom? Are you in there? Did we switch bodies?" His own voice in return sounded different, it was… his mother's? To add to his horror, Susan, embodied in his physical frame, confirmed his worst fears. "Yes, honey, we did switch bodies and before you ask, we are not switching back. Say goodbye to your childhood and Holly. I'll be erasing your memories now," she said nonchalantly. Greg tried to resist as Susan hung her purse over his newly female shoulders. "Ew mom, don't put your purse on me," he protested but to no avail. His memories began to change, his life as Greg Heffley fading until he only remembered himself as Susan Heffley. Suddenly, Greg as Susan smiled at her own son, now in her old body, "Oh honey, thank you for grabbing my purse for me. You're acting very mature about not being able to go to Holly's. I'm very proud of you." She retrieved her car keys, calling out for Manny. The real Susan, now free to have a second shot at youth, relished her triumph. Greg was now Susan, living her life and believing it to have been his all along. She had her freedom, her youth, and a second chance at life, and Greg, well, he was left to believe he was once Susan, oblivious of the wimpy kid he used to be.
