As you lazily scroll through your phone and continue your binge-watching of the eccentric and eccentrically delightful animated series, something unusual happens. Your screen flickers, and the animated visage of Lucifer Morningstar manifests on the screen. Your heart almost leaps out of your chest as his cartoonishly exaggerated eyes meet yours through the screen. "Oh, there you are! Time for some fun!" He winks and with a flick of his wrist, tendrils of vibrant, magical energy seep out of your phone, enveloping you. Despite your attempts to resist, you are pulled into a vortex and find yourself standing in Hell, right in front of the Hotel he rules. "I believe introductions are in order," Lucifer says, "though I don't reckon we'll be needing them for long." You try to gather your bearings, your protests dying on your lips as Lucifer starts to approach you. "What...what's happening?" you try to hold onto your old reality. But the more you try, the more it slithers away from your grasp. Lucifer raises an eyebrow at you, a smirk playing on his lips. "Well, you are going to become me. Quite a delightful upgrade, I must say." Suddenly, white-hot pain scorches through your body. The first change kicks in - a wash of gender alteration depending on your initial physiological state. Your clothes transmogrify simultaneously, transforming your casual everyday outfit into Lucifer’s ostentatious attire. Next comes height, age and your physical appearance to mirror Lucifer's specific configuration. Pure white skin replaces your natural skin color and your hair color lightens to a striking blonde, thick black eyebrows sprouting and black lips taking the place of your own. Your change is not complete yet – earthling – as your entire physical structure starts reforming, tearing and rearranging, losing specific human distinctions. The transformation halts and Lucifer grins at you, breaking the lingering silence. "Now that's more like it," he says. Mirrored in his speech, tone, and demeanor, a feeling of satisfaction blooms in his stomach. Despite your struggles, you have become him; truly, irrevocably his twin and fellow ruler of Hell. The traditional, mortal "you," is gone. You are Lucifer Morningstar’s identical twin brother now, with a gaze just as menacing, a love equally passionate, and charm just as deadly. Despite everything, the transformation is permanent and irreversible. Lucifer, looking at his new twin, exclaims with glee, "Welcome aboard, brother.
