Question: Write the POV transformation story of a male human reader turning into a fantasy elf complete with a tunic, a cape, long boots, leather gloves, pointy elven ears, handsome and ethereal-looking face, no facial hair on the lower half of his face (he keeps his eyelashes and eyebrows however), pale skin, and long blonde hair (not a Christmas elf, fantasy elf) complete with age change, supernatural powers gain (including but not limited to being immortal), reality change (the reader's real world warping and becoming the fantasy medieval world), and mind/mental change (with the reader's personality and memories replaced with an elf's personality and memories, despite his best efforts on fighting off the new memories and personality, making him completely forget about being a mortal human and only remember being an elf). The story is that the reader was visiting a museum containing very old books and other historical artifacts, where the reader finds a book about medieval fantasy creatures, he then opens the book, causing the blinding light to engulf him and thus caused the whole transformation to occur. During the mental changes, the reader is truly terrified/horrified about losing his own memories and personality as a human, so he tries to fight against the new memories and personality (even screaming for help from his family/friends as well as attempting to shake his head as an attempt to get rid of the emerging elven memories/personality), but his mental fight is in vain, making him completely forget his mortal and mundane human life and he only remembers being a medieval-era elf (complete with a new name fitting for an elf, rather than an old human name he once remembered having), with him happy to know that his previous life was only a dream and his life as an elf is his only true life. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
Stepping into the antiquated museum, the sweet, musty odor of ancient knowledge met your senses. Different artifacts and exhibits filled the centuries-old building, yet it was the library section that intrigued you the most. As you moved between the towering shelves, a specific book, the title of which was 'Medieval Fantasy Creatures', caught your attention. Curiosity prevailed over you, and you carefully opened the age-old tome. Suddenly, a blinding white light engulfed you. As your eyes adjusted to the harsh light, a pronounced tingling sensation began at your feet and gradually crept its way up to your head. Looking down at yourself in disbelief, you noticed your attire morphing. Your sturdy hiking shoes shifted into sturdy, mid-calf-high brown leather boots. Your jeans and T-shirt altered, reshaping into a long forest-green tunic edged with intricate golden patterns. A cloak seemingly woven from threads of starlight trailed from your shoulders, catching the moonlight in ethereal ways. Your hands were now clad in supple, dark leather gloves. The physical changes unsettled you, but your attention was distracted as a rush of cool air brushed against your ears, sending a jolt of surprise through you. Touching them, you felt a distinct pointiness that had not been there before. Moving to the nearest mirror in the museum, you were met with a stranger's reflection. Your face was now sharp, ethereally handsome with no trace of facial hair existing, except for your thick blonde eyebrows matching your now waist-long wavy blonde hair. The figure in the mirror looked ageless, with a pale complexion, contrasting significantly against your previous appearance. Although your appearance changed significantly, your mental shift was perhaps the most challenging aspect. You felt like an intruder in your mind as you started to remember new memories, things you had never lived through – endless forests, mythical creatures, ancient languages, and centuries of wisdom. You attempted to fight back, desperate to retain your humanity. You screamed, your voice echoing throughout the museum, your pleas unanswered as the new reality’s relentless surge of memories overwhelmed you. No matter how vigorously you shook your head, attempting to dispel the emerging elven mindset, it folded onto you like relentless waves on a shore. Your real memories were retreating, replaced by tales of magical spells, enchanted forests, and immortal beings. Your once cherished memories, your friends, your family - they all seemed to fade into the realm of dreams. Every attempt to recall your past life came up with the name of an elf. You'd forgotten your old name, and in its place, a name more befitting of an elf, Lúthilion, endured. After the shift was over, you sat there, anguish replaced with peace. You found your previous life being just a dream, a fading nightmare. As Lúthilion, the grandeur medieval-era elf, you stood tall and ready to explore your true existence. The human world had faded, replaced by the unending beauty of the magical fantasy realm. Immortal and ageless, you left the museum behind, ready to enter a new chapter in your endless life.
