Five bodies were her norm, eight when energy was in ample supply. Life had been a whirlwind since her acceptance into UA - A constant rush of new lessons, fierce training, and a plethora of friendships to foster. What excited her most about UA though, was sharing the same class with her secret crush, Hiroki. Chapter 2: Crescendo Months into her training at UA, Kumiko found herself paired up with Hiroki for a mission. Her hearts thumped wildly, one louder than the other, but she found solace in her quirk - the duplicates shared her anxiety, lessening its grip on her. They executed their mission meticulously, with things going smoothly until one of the buildings began to collapse, trapping Hiroki inside. Chapter 3: De Capo Time seemed to suspend, her world revolving solely around Hiroki's endangered life. Her mind echoed with one thought – she had to save Hiroki. But how? She had already expended a lot of her stamina. Hiroki, she realized, had been far more than just another classmate to her. But love demanded sacrifice, and it was a price she was willing to pay. Hiroki was safe in the arms of Kumiko's duplicate, as the original Kumiko and her exhausted copies fell unconscious. Chapter 6: Encore Kumiko woke up in the infirmary, with Hiroki beside her. Their eyes met, lingering before Hiroki finally managed, "You saved me... that was amazing Kumiko. Thanks." She smiled at him, relieved he was safe.
