Duet: A Hero's Quest

Title: "Duet of Hearts: A My Hero Academia Story" The girl was named Aria. Her striking features – the two identical heads and four arms made everybody turn heads whenever she walked into a room. Her quirk was called "Duet". It gave her the ability to duplicate herself multiple times, a process similar to mitosis. These duplicates all shared a single hive mind, and they all possessed Aria's unique appearance. A health conscious young girl, Aria knew the exhaustion that came with creating more of herself. She worked carefully within her limits. She got accepted into Class 1-A at U.A. High School, a feat she was incredibly proud of. However, her excitement was mingled with something else—a nervous, fluttering sensation as she learned her crush was also in the same class. One day, for their training exercises, students were paired up for mock rescue missions. Fate, it seemed, had its own plans as Aria was teamed with the boy she earnestly liked. Despite the initial jittery nerves, the exercise progressed smoothly, until their supposed ‘rescue’ mission suddenly turned dangerously real. Their surroundings trembled as an unexpected quake caused the building their mission was set in to start collapsing. The boy was trapped beneath a fallen slab of concrete, too heavy for Aria's eight bodies working in unison. Aria was desperate - she couldn't let her comrade get hurt. Images of the boy's smile and their shared moments fought against the creeping dread in her mind. An idea struck her, was there a way to push beyond her limits? Summoning every ounce of her stamina and determination, she pushed her quirk to the extreme. A ninth, then a tenth copy of herself manifested, straining her physical limits. The world blurred and darkened around the edges, but her determination didn't fade. The copies, working in unison, managed to lift the corner of the slab, just enough for the boy to scramble out. Moments after he was free, her overextended powers gave out, causing her copies to vanish and Aria to slump to her knees, exhausted but relieved. He looked at her with a mix of admiration and concern in his eyes, thanking her profusely while helping her up. In that moment, her heart swelled with joy despite the exhaustion. It seemed her time in U.A. would be much more exciting and challenging than she had ever imagined. But she knew she wouldn’t have to face it alone. Together, they would help each support each other in their hero journeys, slowly discovering the strengths they each held, and maybe, just maybe, the heart fluttering feeling she felt for the boy was more than just a crush. And thus, the duet continued, singing the song of their joint adventures as the story of Aria and her unusual quirk unfolded in the lively hubbub of U.A. High School.
