Sam was living with Cat in their apartment after her internet show ended and they had started their babysitting business. Sam always had an adventurous spirit and an uncanny knack for finding trouble or creating one for herself. One such instance was when she stumbled upon an abandoned scientific lab while snooping around their apartment building's basement. Finding a sophisticated device that scientists had termed a 'Clone Creator 3000', Sam was able to derive, through reading a manual written in incredibly complicated language and multiple experiments involving watermelons, how the device could clone people, not only physically but also their personality traits. The device allowed the user to transform anyone into their clones by scanning the brain waves and body structure and then radiating the scanned particles onto the person. With a wicked grin on her face, Sam pondered the possibilities. She was keen to see what would happen if she transformed Cat into a clone of herself. The device buzzed, and a metallic voice echoed, "Clone creation initiated". Cat started to feel an intense influx of energy. Out of fear and confusion, Cat screamed, "Sam, stop it! This is really scary! I don't want to change!" Despite her plea, the process continued. Cat's perfectly curled red hair slowly turned blonde, her voice progressively became huskier, and her cotton candy pink dress morphed into a plaid shirt and jeans, resembling Sam's signature outfit. Sam, watching the transformation, couldn't help but feel a sinking dread in her heart. What had she done?
