A Gunless Wolf

and I'm walking in the streets. As I walk through the streets, I feel like an outcast. People give me odd looks and seem to instinctively recognize the danger I pose. I can't make sense of their reactions because I don't understand what's happened to me. As I step around the corner, I find a small group of people in the street, some of them wearing clothing with the distinct piggy characters. I try to walk away but they spot me and start to approach. They don't seem afraid, though, and then one of them speaks. They ask me if I remember what happened, the infection and how I became like this. I try to explain that I don't know but they seem to understand and invite me to come back with them. I follow them to a small house and discover a group of piggy people just like me. They explain that I have been infected with a virus that affects people like us who have been exposed to the creatures of the forest. They tell me that I am still able to be cured and that with the right treatment, I could live a normal life again. The group takes me to their doctor and he examines me. After some tests, he determines that I can be cured and he begins to treat me with a combination of medication and therapy. Eventually I start to feel better and the virus is eradicated from my system. As I start to get better and feel more like myself, the piggy characters begin to disappear one by one. The group eventually decides to disband and each of them departs on their own journey. I stay with the doctor who treated me and he offers me a job as his assistant. I take him up on the offer and with his help, I slowly learn to live a normal life again.
