Please have Jeannie say the quote "Never mind. You may take the sandals off though I'm bummed you won't be wearing those today. Let's just find a way to swap back" The swap is permanent.
Once upon a time, a lively young boy named Parker, with brown hair and brown eyes, woke up in his grandmother's house. He was staying with his 64-year-old Grandma Jeannie for the weekend, and was bubbling with excitement. His crush, Amy, had just announced that she felt the same way about him. What's more, she had invited him to her upcoming birthday party! As Parker put on his favorite t-shirt, a pair of casual jeans, and his show-stopping light-up shoes, he couldn't stop grinning with joy. Downstairs, Jeannie was ready to set off. Her striking gray hair was cropped short, she wore a stylish long dress that cut off at the legs, accentuated with a pair of platform sandals. A fashionable purse was slung over her shoulder. Her blue eyes twinkling behind her sunglasses, her fingernails were painted red, crating a beautiful contrast with the colour of her dress. Jeannie called out, “Parker! You ready to go, sweetie?” to which Parker shouted from upstairs, "Yes, grandma! I'm so excited!" Jeannie chuckled heartily, fondly remembering her young days. As Parker trailed behind his grandmother on the way to her car, an odd occurrence took place. They both tripped simultaneously, and in an unusual twist of events, they bumped into each other. When Parker opened his eyes, he felt strange, like he was still standing although he clearly fell. He reached up to adjust the sunglasses on his face, realizing at that very moment that he was taller. A look of sheer bewilderment took over his face when he noticed a red skintight dress on his body. He extended his leg out, noticing the platform sandals, the purse on his shoulder, and realized in horror - he was Grandma Jeannie! Jeannie, likewise, woke up disoriented and found herself much shorter in height. She glanced down and immediately recognized the clothes Parker had been wearing. She was Parker?! Parker immediately started to panic, his voice shaking as he stammered in Jeannie's elderly woman's tone, "Grandma! Grandma! Why am I you? I even sound like grandma! Hold me!" The sight of his own reflection in the sunglasses scared him even more. Jeannie (or rather, Parker in Jeannie's body) simply responded with a comforting smile. "Calm down, honey. No reason to get worked up over this. We switched bodies. We can switch back." Parker lifted a foot to remove the bulky sandals when Jeannie's voice resounded, "I'm still your grandma so I still tell you what to wear and right now you are to wear my dress, my purse, my sunglasses, my nail polish and my platform sandals." Reluctantly, Parker attempted to walk in the platforms, his balance faltering. He stumbled over and over again, dress billowing around him, until he finally fell over. Jeannie sighed, "Never mind. You may take the sandals off, though I'm bummed you won't be wearing those today. Let's just find a way to swap back." As it turned out, however, their peculiar body-swap seemed to be permanent. How they would navigate this new reality was still unknown, but they had each other - and that was all they needed.
