"Your grades have been slipping profusely young man. I'm afraid I can't let you leave" she said. Tanner feeling defeated sat down in his chair. Mrs. O'Connery then perked up saying she could let him go however if he played a little game with her. Tanner agreed and wondered what it was. Mrs. O'Connery said "Shoe swapping. I wear your shoes and you wear my high heels. It will be fun and trust me, wearing high heels is a lot of fun. If you do this, I will let you leave right now" Tanner took his own shoes and off and looked at the large heels. Carefully slipping his small feet into the shoes was strange having never thought he would ever wear heels. Looking up, he noticed his teacher now looked like a copy of him. Looking down, his feet started growing and aging into Mrs. O'Connery's now fitting perfectly in the high heels. Tanner was now terrified at what was happening as his whole body shifted into Mrs. O'Connery's as his hair grew long and brown before wrapping itself in a bun, glasses formed on his face, his teeth grew white and straight, his nails got a mani and pedi, his outfit turning into the white blouse and business skirt Mrs. O'Connery was wearing as his voice changed into her mature woman tone. "Mrs. O'Connery? Why do I look like and sound like a grownup?" Tanner asked holding back tears. Mrs. O'Connery replied "I wanted to be young again Tanner. The shoe swapping was a ruse. The new Mrs. O'Connery gave a confused look before replying "What about Debby? She's another one of the students in my class and I give her the same attention I give anybody else. Stop trying to change the subject and get home right now!" With that, the real Mrs. O'Connery happily ran home in her new young body happy to no longer be old. The new Mrs. O'Connery walked over to the mirror looking really confused. "What is puzzling me right now? Why do I feel different today? Could it be my student's questioning everything?" she tugged at her skirt and her blouse before shrugging it off and grabbing her purse throwing it over her shoulder and strutting out of the classroom completely unaware of her old life as Tanner.
