13-Year-Old Bailey Switches Bodies with 16-Year-Old Sister

Once upon a time, in a sunny neighborhood littered with children and playing dogs there lived two inseparable sisters, Bailey and Christina. At the tender age of 13, Bailey radiated an extraordinary sense of maturity and responsibility, a sharp contrast to her carefree, outgoing, 16-year-old sister Christina. Their parents were going out of town for the weekend and left Bailey and Christina enough money for food and any other necessities. As soon as their car disappeared down the lane, Christina rushed toward Bailey with glinting eyes. "Hey, Bailey, we should totally buy matching purses! Or maybe some more lipstick for the both of us?" Christina proposed. Yet, Bailey, with her sensible heart, objected. "That doesn't sound like a good idea, Christina. We should order pizza instead. We have more than enough for that," she suggested. Yielding to her young sister's wisdom, Christina went up to her room, promising to order pizza. Five minutes passed before a voice echoed down the stairs, calling for Bailey. Puzzled, Bailey climbed the stairs to find Christina grinning. "Try on this pair of my pink flip flops, will you?" Christina said, pointing to a pair that was obviously too large for Bailey. Nonetheless, Bailey slipped her feet into the monstrous footwear, her feet wobbling in the vast emptiness. Almost simultaneously, Christina grabbed Bailey's hands and wouldn't let go. Suddenly, she experienced an unexplainable shift as Christina let go. Upon releasing her hands, Bailey peered down and realized she towered over her sister, her body seeming far too big. Stumbling towards the mirror, she shrieked in Christina's voice, "Oh my God! I'm in my sister's body!" Seeing Bailey's panic, Christina quickly motioned towards the flip-flops. "Try them on again!" she urged, and without a second thought, Bailey did. This time, they fit perfectly. Overcome with anxiety, Bailey pleaded, "Hey Christina, can we switch back? I'm not ready to be 16." Then, something remarkable happened. Christina, or what seemed to be Christina in Bailey's body, seemed to reach into Bailey's mind. When Christina let go, Bailey remembered only being Christina, causing the real Bailey in Christina's body to blink in confusion. "Huh, that's weird. Why does my head hurt? Why are we in my room, Bailey?" The new Christina, formerly Bailey, asked. The real Christina, now in Bailey's body, responded, "I just thought we could go to the mall and spend all of the money on clothes and purses and stuff." Filled with sudden exhilaration, the new Christina exclaimed, "OMG! I'm so happy to hear that, Bailey. You're like, so cool all of a sudden. Are you okay?" With a nod, the pair grabbed the car keys, slipping into their parents' roles momentarily as they headed to the mall ready to spend the money they were given. The new Christina wearing Bailey's body never doubted her sister's transformation while real Bailey trapped in Christina’s body wondered what kind of spell they were under.
