Prompt: Write a POV transformation story of a male human turning into a siren (a mythological man-eating mermaid) male, complete with body changes (his human legs fusing to become a mermaid tail with a fish fin at the end (as well as small fins by the sides close to his torso), his skin bleaching itself to be violet in color with a white underbelly (chest and belly), his body becoming lean and athletic, three gill slits forming on each side of his neck (to allow him to breathe underwater in addition to air), his fingernails sharpening into claw-like nails (which can retract to avoid scratching other sirens), his hair lengthening to reach his shoulders, his human ears turning into fins in their place, his human nose shrinking away to leave only his nostrils, his human teeth growing and sharpening into a predator's rows of teeth/fangs, an anglerfish-like lure growing on his forehead (to aid him in seeing in the fog and in the dark), his human eyes darkening to be completely black in color, etc), voice change, supernatural powers gain (gaining him the ability to make hypnotic and hauntingly alluring/melodious voices/songs to attract his victims, the ability to shapeshift to resemble his victims' loved ones or desired love to attract his victims (only the upper half of his body like the torso, arms, and head can shapeshift, so he usually hides his tail behind any object (rocks, etc) or under water) to attract victims, immortality so he cannot die from age nor diseases/viruses (since he is an immortal creature who had lived since during 40th century BC), and other powers to fit his species as a siren), age change, and mind/mental changes (with the reader's personalities and memories being completely replaced with a male siren's personality and memories, despite the reader's best efforts of fighting his/her new personality and memories, making the reader completely forget he was a human being, even forgetting that the transformation that just occurred seconds ago, and only remembered ever being a male siren, realizing that he had always been a siren and never a human to begin with, and realizing that he was daydreaming about being a human before he awoken to his true self (a siren)). The story is that the human reader is taking a stroll on a Californian beach and found a nearby rocky island surrounded by cliffs and rocks that was strangely not inhabited by any humans or other animals, so he takes a swim and goes to the island, only to feel the island (which actually closely resembles Sirenum Scopuli, a mythical island off the coast of Greece that was filled with sirens where the sirens lived and lured sailors to their deaths) literally changing him through a spell, causing his whole transformation into a siren to occur. After the physical transformation, which is terrifying to the human, the mind/mental change occurs, making him terrified of losing himself to the creature he is transforming into (he doesn't want to turn into a monster, let alone a creature that has eaten humans according to mythology); however, something in the human's, now the siren's, mind tells him that he is simply waking up from his false human life, which was not real and was only the dream that the siren himself had, before he started snapping out of it. After all that, he realized that he had always been a siren (which he realized, by now, are not monsters) since his birth (as a siren, his true self) in the seas off the coast of Greece during 40th century BC, having remembered being loved/cherished by his kindly/gentle parents, who were also sirens, before, when he was a teenager, this parents and the other sirens were tragically killed in Sirenum Scopuli during 8th century BC by the Greek "hero" Odysseus, king of Ithaca, who (along with Odysseus's crewmates), are not heroes to the sirens and are viewed by the sirens as villains (especially Odysseus himself), since didn't spare the male siren's family or the other sirens (despite the sirens' plead) and Odysseus (and his crewmates) had cut off his family's tails (as well as tails of the many other sirens) before dumping his family to the ocean to drown (since they couldn't swim without their tails), with few remaining sirens, including the male siren himself, having survived the genocide, and since then, the male siren has become avengeful for his parent's deaths against humans, who he sees are barbaric due to what they did to his parents and the many other sirens. Since then, the male siren has migrated to that island (the one where he dreamed of his false "human" life) that is located off the coast of California, where he since had company with his siren wife (which he genuinely loves and cares for) and his siren children (which he also genuinely loves and cares for, even playing with them and protecting them against harm), and he and his loving/cherished family had always been together devouring humans who either came to their island or got too close to their island, even to modern times (21st century). He is truly happy about his current life with his siren family, with a loving wife and playful children, and is happy to have never been human to begin with (since he knows that humans are barbaric monsters, and he is happy to know that he has snapped out of his human dream and back to his reality), with he and his family always having hunted human sailors who either came to his family's island or got to close to the island. There should be quotes from the characters in this story, from the human himself (as well as his siren self), as well as quotes from the siren male's family, and also include the quotes from the siren male's flashbacks (including quotes of those of his parents, as well as quotes of those of Odysseus and his crewmates, and quotes of those of the human prey/victims hunted by the male siren and his family), so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking (even including a name for the siren male once the transformation is over). Also, it is a POV reader story, so it should not be in an author's point of view (my, I, mine, etc), and it should be from the point of view of the reader (you, your, etc).
