Dylan into Astaroth Morningstar: The Prince of Eternal Dreaming

In the depths of one of Hell's most lavish mansions, Dylan lay fast asleep, oblivious to the transformation that had occurred, sealed within the layers of dreams and memories intertwined like threads of fate. As the first rays of what passed for morning light in Hell pierced the darkness of his room, Dylan began to stir. His eyes slowly fluttered open, light yellow with red slit pupils gazing around at the unfamiliar, opulent surroundings.

Awareness seeped in like a thick miasma, and Dylan's senses were suddenly overwhelmed by the realization that he was no longer in the realm of mortals. The room was grand, adorned with rich tapestries, intricately carved furniture, and numerous portraits lining the walls. Each depiction bore familiar faces: Lucifer Morningstar, the king of Hell, Charlie Morningstar, and himself—a youthful, princely figure with blonde hair and white-red clothing.

"Where am I?" Dylan thought aloud, his voice now carrying a timbre of youthful arrogance, tinged with a dramatic flair similar yet distinctive from that of Lucifer Morningstar.

Suddenly, the memories surged in his mind like a tidal wave. He remembered his mortal life, his homeland of Dylanusland, his girlfriend Emma, and his protective brother Black. Panic gripped him, and his breaths came in rapid gasps.

"No, no! This can't be happening!" he cried, tears welling up in his purifying, light-pupiled eyes. He tried to hold onto the fragments of his former self, calling out desperately. "Emma! Black! Help me!"

But within seconds, his cries were becoming incoherent. As if a dark, supernatural force was smothering his mortal memories, replacing them with new ones. The voice within his mind echoed like a divine proclamation, "This is you. You have always been the son of Lucifer Morningstar, the Prince of Hell. Your mortal recollections are nothing but a distant, fabricated dream."

"No! I'm not... I'm not..." Dylan whimpered, clutching his head as memories of eons in Heaven and Hell swirled through his mind. He remembered his graceful parents, Lucifer and Lilith, cradling him as an angelic infant. Scenes of his sister Charlie's birth and the centuries in Hell following their banishment from Heaven cascaded down on him. It was too much. "I'm not a fallen angel... I'm not..." he insisted, his resolve weakening progressively.

"You are mistaken," the supernatural voice intoned. "Call for your father, Lucifer. He will protect you."

"No... no..." Dylan resisted, but the fights in his mind grew weaker. Instinctively, he shouted amidst the haze, "Father! Dad! Help me!"

His mortal memories gasped their last breath as his true immortal self solidified. Now fully aware, he called out truly and intentionally, "Father, where are you?"

Lucifer Morningstar strode into the room, his six wings retracted elegantly behind his white-red suit. His eyes bore a mixture of surprise and genuine concern. "My son! What's troubling you?" The king of Hell asked, his voice vibrating with an undercurrent of love.

Fresh tears mingled with fear and confusion spilled from Dylan's eyes as he ran towards Lucifer, clutching onto him for solace. "Dad, I had such a terrible dream! I thought I was... mortal!"

Lucifer's heart softened as he wrapped his thin but powerful arms around his son, gently stroking his hair. "Shh, it's alright, my boy. It was merely a dream. Mortal life is but a fleeting illusion; you have always been, and will always be, my cherished son."

His father's words were calming, like soothing music to his now immortal mind. Dylan could remember countless eons of experiences in Hell, the noble upbringing, the power, and his familial bonds with Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie. The strange dream of a mortal life faded into the shadows of his thoughts.

"You stay true to your father now, understand? No silly nightmares will ever hurt you," Lucifer continued, ensuring his son felt every bit of protection and paternal love he offered.

"Yes, father," Dylan nodded, his voice steadying, "Thank you for reminding me. I know who I am now. I am your son. I am—"

"Astaroth Morningstar," Lucifer interjected gently. "That is your true name."

Dylan smiled, wiping away the remnants of his fear. "Yes, I am Astaroth Morningstar."

Lucifer guided Astaroth through the halls of their grand mansion, showing him the memories etched into its walls, pieces of the pride and history of the Morningstar family. They ventured into the elegant training room, where Lucifer encouraged Astaroth to test his newly recovered powers.

With effortless grace, Astaroth summoned his six angelic wings, which unfurled like a symphony of feathers and light from his back. He soared around the room, each beat of his wings a testament to his immortal essence. He tested his myriad of supernatural abilities: conjuring flames with a flick of his fingers, shifting into a snake with his characteristic colors, and even duplicating himself like a mirror splitting into fractals.

"Father, I am truly as powerful as you," Astaroth said with pride. He could see the approval and genuine love in Lucifer's eyes.

"Indeed, my son. Remember, your powers come with responsibilities. We rule Hell together, keeping balance in our home," Lucifer responded, his voice filled with regal authority.

As day transitioned into night, the royal limo awaited them. Lucifer drove them through the seven rings of Hell, showing Astaroth their kingdom in all its chaotic glory. In every place, the denizens—whether imps, succubi, or sinners—bowed with respect to the royal procession.

Stepping back into their mansion, Lucifer proudly led Astaroth to the twin thrones, one for himself and one for his young fallen angel son.

From that day forward, Astaroth Morningstar relished his true immortal, princely life. He ruled Hell alongside his father, sharing the proud and grand demeanor, the love for polka music, rubber ducks, and cirque-style imagery. In every moment, he knew the truth of his existence: he had never been mortal; he was always the powerful, loving son of Lucifer Morningstar. No memory of his former self remained to haunt him, as he thrived in the eternal dance of Hell's grand theatrics, forever the confident, graceful Prince of Hell.

"I love you, father," Astaroth said sincerely, sitting on his throne next to Lucifer.

"And I love you, my son," Lucifer replied, truly happy and content as they oversaw their kingdom.

Thus, the transformation was complete and irreversible, sealing Astaroth’s destiny forever as the proud, powerful, and immortal son of Lucifer Morningstar.

Prompt: Write the transformation story of Dylan the Dylanus (the original character made by the DeviantArt user Dylan613) turning into the lookalike son of Lucifer Morningstar (from an adults cartoon/animated series Hazbin Hotel made by VivziePop), complete with clothes change (Dylan's clothes instantly replaced by a new outfit identical to Lucifer's outfit), age change (retaining his biological 15 year-old age and being younger than Lucifer, despite now being even older than Earth itself and being immortal like his newfound father Lucifer), height progression to between 5.2 and 5.7 feet tall (due to becoming a young fallen angel and a son of Lucifer Morningstar, Dylan becomes taller than his previous mortal self yet still shorter than Lucifer, who is his newfound father), voice change (Dylan's voice changing to fit with the Morningstar bloodline, similar to but not identical to Lucifer's voice, albeit in a somewhat younger voice), and instant mind/mental change (with Dylan's personalities and memories being permanently and completely replaced within seconds or minutes by a new personality and new memories of being part of the royal Morningstar family, despite his best efforts on fighting off those new memories, making him completely forget about his past average and mortal self and everything before the transformation, and he now only remembers being a lookalike son of Lucifer Morningstar). For VivziePop's rendition of Hell (as depicted from the Hazbin Hotel series), it is the supernatural realm of demons. It is not the fiery pits of torment or a wasteland (unlike in most myths or pop culture), but it is inhabited by a population of indigenous hellborn: entities that were born in Hell, and sinners: Humans who have died and have had their souls sent to Hell. The atmosphere is presented as perpetually choleric, disorderly, and noxious, though capable of supporting carbon-based lifeforms. Hell's geography is divided into Seven Rings, as first revealed by the lyrics in the song "You Will Be Ok". Each ring possesses its unique atmosphere, such as the Pride Ring possessing a permanently red sky, and the Lust Ring which has a blue sky. Hellborn demons have the ability to traverse across any of the rings, made easily accessible via an extensive elevator network, whereas sinner demons are confined to the top-most ring, the Pride Ring, by methods and reasons unknown. Hell's society is incredibly chaotic due to the unstable and hostile disposition of its populace. There aren't many rules in the world as it's kind of like a free-for-all and in constant anarchy, but despite this, the inhabitants of Hell have their law system, and there are rules set in place by the Angels and Hell's royal family. The realm also appears to be capable of providing and maintaining rudimentary public services, evidenced by the appearance of firefighters in the episode "Murder Family" of Helluva Boss. Within Hell's civilization, there exists a crude form of hierarchy defined by power, with all of Hell being ruled by a king: the fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar, whose daughter and heir apparent is Princess Charlie, and whose son and heir is the fallen angel reader (who is a prince and also the ruler of Hell alongside his father, Lucifer Morningstar). (The levels of this hierarchy are broken up from top-to-bottom as follows: Lucifer Morningstar - The King of Hell; Fallen Angel Reader - The Prince of Hell, heir to Hell's throne; Charlie Morningstar - The Princess of Hell, heir apparent to Hell's throne; The Seven Deadly Sins; The Ars Goetia - Hellborn Demons with royal status, including Prince Stolas; Overlords - Demons who wield considerable power/influence in the Pride Ring; Sinners - Demons who were once humans on Earth, having sinned were damned to Hell; Hellborn demons - Succubi, Incubi, and other species of demons native to Hell; Imps and Hellhounds - The bottom of Hell's society) The Pride Ring suffers from mass overpopulation of sinner demons which Exorcists from Heaven attempt to solve through the exterminations, which is a mass genocide of its inhabitants. These are conducted primarily to reduce Hell's sinner population, leaving Hellborn denizens unharmed as per an agreement Lucifer made with Heaven's leadership. Charlie aims to stop this by giving sinners a chance to rehabilitate and redeem themselves by checking into her hotel and later ascending to Heaven. For VivziePop's rendition of Heaven (as depicted from the Hazbin Hotel series), it is the ethereal realm of Angels. It is where souls go after their departure from life. But, unlike its infernal counterpart, Hell, Heaven is purportedly for the souls who are "good" and "redeemed", although the origin of Heaven and its native inhabitants has yet to be revealed. The landscape is radically different from Hell and has an entirely different attitude. Existing above Hell itself, Heaven can be seen in the Pride Ring's red sky next to the satanic star moon. At a distance, it appears to be a white orb with several rings around it and surrounded by wing-like clouds. At the surface, its atmosphere features clear skies filled with brilliant rays of light, while its terrain appears to be extensive fields of cloud. Sealed by a giant golden gate, Heaven is a blistering paradise for those who were pure of good, allowing the souls to enjoy the luxury of everything opposite of Hell, and their forms were pure, guiding those who've been blessed with following the best interest of Heaven. However, deep inside, Heaven is a dystopia where citizens are completely oblivious to the Exorcists descending to Hell annually and reap various demons in an event known as the Extermination in order to curb Hell's overpopulation problem. Even when Adam and Lute outright inadvertently exposes the truth of the Extermination, many angels would try to deny their roles and turn a blind eye towards the event. However, many angels were horrified this event was allowed even though they were Sinner demons. Aside from their roles in the afterlife, Heaven and Hell have a very hostile relationship in their roles with each other. Hell was created after Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith brought free will to humanity and evil entered Earth. After Lilith arrived in Hell, she thrived and allowed her to increase the powers of the Demons as more human souls arrive after committing sin. With Hell's power increasing, Sera, the High Seraphim of Heaven, allowed the Extermination to happen under Adam's authority so that Hell cannot rise up against them. In turn, the denizens of Hell hold strong animosity toward Heaven and its inhabitants for the yearly Extermination, with some planning countermeasures and defenses against the attack of Exorcists. Before the episode "Welcome to Heaven", the Extermination was kept secret from everyone in Heaven except Sera and the Exorcists. Angels have no idea of the requirements a soul needs to pass Divine Judgement to enter Heaven, only knowing when a soul arrives. Out of fear of becoming fallen like Lucifer did, they decide not to question Divine Judgement. For Dylan's normal and mortal appearance, he is a 4.9 foot tall, 15 year old boy who has a lean build for his size, tan skin, medium-length brown hair (that reaches his chin, although not covering his face at all), and has green irises. He wears a dark blue hoodie, a lighter blue t-shirt underneath, and cyan wear jeans. He also has white socks underneath his black tennis shoes, which have an x-shaped gray marking on each of his shoes' tongue. For his personality, he is a kind, considerate, smart, and understanding character, who is a love interest to Emma (his affectionate and understanding girlfriend) and is playful around his smarter, slightly older brother Black. Despite his small frame and being a teen, he goes in the way to protect his homeland (Dylanusland, a tropical, subtropical, and temperate island country in the Pacific Ocean on Earth) against various villains and monsters (always successful, even if some are more difficult than others). For Dylan's new self (now a young fallen angel rather than a normal mortal), he is taller than his previous self (he is now between 5.2 and 5.7 feet tall) although still slightly shorter than Lucifer Morningstar's 6-foot height (due to the fallen angel Dylan's different age from his previous age as a mortal and due to being younger than his newfound father Lucifer), he now has an unnaturally-slender body (having very thin, unnoticeable yet extremely powerful muscles and having no body fat) with a literally pure white skin and dark grey forearms (even his hands are dark grey), just like Lucifer Morningstar himself, and it is noticeable when his sleeves are rolled up. The reader in his fallen angel self has blonde, short-cut hair that is blonde and is slicked back with one tuft sticking out, and his blonde hair has thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler blonde highlights, matching the hairstyle of his newfound father (Lucifer Morningstar). He also has sharp black eyebrows, thin lips, and a mouth full of sharp white teeth. He has no visible ears or a nose (not even a nose ridge, nose cartilage, or nostrils), giving him a less "human" appearance and instead having flat, smooth surfaces where the ears and nose would be. His eyes (which do not have irises) are light yellow with red slit pupils resembling those of a snake. Like his sister (Charlie Morningstar) and his father (Lucifer Morningstar), the fallen angel Dylan has a large red circle pattern on each of his cheeks. His eyelids are light purple which give the appearance of eyeshadow. Also, just like his mortal self, the fallen angel Dylan does not have any beard, mustache, sideburns, nor stubble, just as Lucifer doesn't have any facial hair on the lower half of his face, but he does retain eyebrows and eyelashes. Dylan, now a son of Lucifer Morningstar, wears an identical outfit to his newfound father (Lucifer); having a white-red clothing that is somewhat like a circus ringmaster, consisting of a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat is worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. He also wears a pair of long white poofy pants neatly tucked under a set of heeled black knee-high boots. On his left pinkie, he sports a golden ring, which resembles Lucifer's golden ring. The fallen angel Dylan usually carries a red apple-topped black cane that matches his hat. Due to his angelic origins, the fallen angel Dylan possesses six white wings with red feathers, which he can materialize and extend from his coat (allowing him to fly at will). The fallen angel Dylan also has immortality, every supernatural powers, his personality, and his preferences that are all completely identical to Lucifer's own immortality, supernatural powers (having all the same powers as Lucifer Morningstar's powers), personality, and preferences (Lucifer's likes and dislikes). Like his father (Lucifer), the fallen angel Dylan represents the sin of Pride (being the ruler of the Pride Ring in addition to all of Hell, ruling the Pride Ring and all of Hell alongside his father), and (alongside his father) he is the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. For the fallen angel Dylan's powers, he has these: Flight (able to summon his six bird-like angelic wings from his back and he is capable of flying), angelic power (as a fallen angel, he possesses very strong angelic power, which holds sway over the demonic power of his contemporaries), demonic magic (as Prince of Hell, the fallen angel Dylan has accessity to demonic magic at a much higher level than his sister (Charlie)), hand-to-hand combat, super strength (as the Prince of Hell and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, the fallen angel Dylan's strength is quite exceptional, and he barely puts any effort into the fight and he can easily defeat powerful enemies such as Adam (an Exorcist angel and the main villain of the Hazbin Hotel series)), shapeshifting (able to change into many forms and animals at will, for example; he can take the form of a snake (his favorite animal form), this animal form is just an example of what animals he can shapeshift to), and when he shapeshifts, he still keeps some of his traits, like color scheme, red cheeks, hair, black bowtie, and white top hat), size manipulation (he can change his size at will; for example, he can become very large or much smaller), duplication (he can create multiple copies of himself), portal creation (he is able to conjure portals as a means of instant transportation, which other demons can use; for me example, the fallen angel Dylan's portals manifest as rings of sparkly light, being similar to the portal that took and removed Charlie and Vaggie in from Heaven in the episode "Welcome to Heaven", indicating that this ability is derived from his angelic powers), pyrokinesis (like his sister, Charlie, and his father, Lucifer, the fallen angel Dylan also has the power to manipulate fire at will), fire breath (in his full demon form, he can make fire come out of his mouth at will when he speaks), teleportation (he can teleport to any location by covering himself with glittery red mists), life manipulation (like his father, Lucifer, the fallen angel Dylan is able to create and manipulate life), conjuration (he can create virtually anything he desires with a simple flick of the wrist, including but not limited to clothing, puppets, instruments, large fountains of champagne, mountains of caviar, and many others), liquid manipulation (he is capable of carrying, manipulate, and throw yellow-colored liquid), ventriloquism, and full demon transformation (when the fallen angel Dylan takes on his full demonic form, as well as displaying his wings, the fallen angel Dylan displays a pair of red horns with an orb of fire between them and a thin crown resembling a snake with an apple above his hat, while his eyes also change to have red sclera with yellow pupils (unlike in his default form), he also has a long black devil-like tail with spikes that ends in a triangular tip with a red heart at the center, while demonic eyes also appear on the inside his coat-tails; a similar eye also appears on his bowtie, in addition, his entire body gives off a light white glow). He also has musical talent (similar to his sister, Charlie, and his father, Lucifer, the fallen angel Dylan partakes in singing), instrumental talent (he's known to be quite a skilled in various instruments, including being a very skilled fiddle player; the fallen angel Dylan also can play an accordion to a minor degree), and great craftsmanship (the fallen angel Dylan spends his time with his father (Lucifer) making rubber ducks with various gimmicks such as flipping backwards and spitting fire). Here are the fallen angel Dylan's preferences (his likes and dislikes); he likes/loves his sister Charlie (he even supports his sister), his father Lucifer (even supporting his father), circus imagery, rubber ducks (including crafting rubber ducks, and he enjoys making them with his father (Lucifer)), singing, caramel apples, pancakes, musical instruments, girls, and polka music. However he dislikes sinners demons (including Alastor the Radio Demon, his rival), having given sinners a chance, Heaven's rules (especially Heaven's hypocrisy), the Hazbin Hotel's name (including the Hazbin Hotel's bar), someone teasing about his short height, see his sister Charlie or his father Lucifer sad, and his sister Charlie or his father Lucifer getting in harm's way (including the thought of his father (Lucifer) or his sister (Charlie) being crushed by Heaven like he was), and himself being separated from his mother Lilith. His personality is identical to those of his father (Lucifer). For Lucifer Morningstar's appearance (and no, he is not Satan, since Lucifer and Satan are separate characters, and Lucifer represents the sin of Pride whereas Satan represents the sin of Wrath), he is about 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and he has literally pure white skin. His hair is blonde, short-cut, and is slicked back with one tuft sticking out, and his blonde hair has thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler blonde highlights. He has no facial hair on the lower half of his face (no beard, mustache, sideburns, etc), but he has eyelashes and sharp black eyebrows. He also has thin lips, and a mouth full of sharp white teeth. He has a biologically mid-to-late 20s aged body (despite being older than Earth itself and Lucifer being immortal). He has no visible ears or nose (not even a nose ridge, nose cartilage, or nostrils), giving him a less "human" appearance and instead having flat, smooth surfaces where the ears and nose would be. His eyes (which do not have irises) are light yellow with red slit pupils resembling those of a snake. He, like his daughter (Charlie Morningstar), has a large red circle pattern on each of his cheeks. His eyelids are light purple which give the appearance of eyeshadow. His forearms (including his hands) also appear to be dark grey, and it is noticeable when his sleeves are rolled up. Lucifer's white-red clothing is somewhat like a circus ringmaster; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat is worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. He also wears a pair of long white poofy pants neatly tucked under a set of heeled black knee-high boots. On his left pinkie, he sports a golden ring which is presumably his wedding ring. Lucifer is usually seen carrying a red apple-topped black cane that matches his hat. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers, which he can materialize and extend from his coat. He is shorter than his daughter, Charlie (who stands over 6 feet, around 6 and a half feet tall), and his wife, Lilith (who stands over 6-and-a-half feet tall). Despite his very thin body, Lucifer has the following powers; Flight (able to summon his six bird-like angelic wings from his back and he is capable of flying), angelic power (as a fallen angel, he possesses very strong angelic power, which holds sway over the demonic power of his contemporaries), demonic magic (as King of Hell, Lucifer has accessity to demonic magic at a much higher level than his daughter), hand-to-hand combat, super strength (as the King of Hell and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Lucifer's strength is quite exceptional, as when he fought Adam (the Hazbin Hotel series' main antagonist/villain) he barely put any effort into the fight and easily defeating the powerful angel), shapeshifting (able to change into many forms and animals at will, for example; according to the Story of Hell, Lucifer briefly took the form of a snake (possibly his favorite animal form), and in the episode "The Show Must Go On", he took the forms of a snake, a goat, a bird, a horse, and an octopus (these animal forms are just examples of what animals he can shapeshift to), and when he shapeshifts, he still keeps some of his traits, like color scheme, red cheeks, hair, black bowtie, and white top hat), size manipulation (Lucifer changes his size a few times during the song number "Hell's Greatest Dad" in the episode "Dad Beat Dad", first when he’s sitting on his throne in front of Charlie where he is very large, and the second being when he falls out of the slot machine where he is much smaller), duplication (he can create multiple copies of himself), portal creation (he is able to conjure portals as a means of instant transportation, which other demons can use; for me example, Lucifer’s portals manifest as rings of sparkly light, being similar to the portal that took and removed Charlie and Vaggie in from Heaven in the episode "Welcome to Heaven", indicating that this ability is derived from his angelic powers), pyrokinesis (like his daughter, Charlie, and his son (the fallen angel reader), he also has the power to manipulate fire at will), fire breath (in his full demon form, he can make fire come out of his mouth at will when he speaks), teleportation (he can teleport to any location by covering himself with glittery red mists), life manipulation (Lucifer is able to create and manipulate life; for example, he created Razzle and Dazzle (two small goat-like winged demons who serve the royal Morningstar family as personal bodyguards for both Charlie and the fallen angel reader as well as the rest of the family)), conjuration (he can create virtually anything he desires with a simple flick of the wrist, including but not limited to clothing, puppets, instruments, large fountains of champagne, and mountains of caviar), liquid manipulation (he is capable of carrying, manipulate, and throw yellow-colored liquid), ventriloquism, and full demon transformation (when Lucifer takes on his full demonic form, as well as displaying his wings, Lucifer displays a pair of red horns with an orb of fire between them and a thin crown resembling a snake with an apple above his hat, while his eyes also change to have red sclera with yellow pupils (unlike in his default form), he also has a black devil-like tail with spikes that ends in a triangular tip with a red heart at the center, while demonic eyes also appear on the inside his coattails; a similar eye also appears on his bowtie, in addition, his entire body gives off a light white glow). He also has musical talent (similar to his daughter Charlie, Lucifer partakes in singing), instrumental talent (he's known to be quite a skilled in various instruments, including being a very skilled fiddle player; Lucifer also can play an accordion to a minor degree), and great craftsmanship (Lucifer spends his time, alongside the fallen angel reader (his son), making rubber ducks with various gimmicks such as flipping backwards and spitting fire). Here's Lucifer's personality; despite his status as the ruler (king) of all of Hell, Lucifer possesses a grandiose and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical and awkward and melancholic. Like Charlie, Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs. According to the "The Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in "Overture", Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose desire to gift humankind with free will led to the accidental creation of Hell and the subsequent banishment of it caused him to give up his dreams. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer went into isolation and fell into depression. He coped by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks, spending years in his home. This obsession also causes him to become estranged from his daughter, to the point where he barely calls her at all and thinks she does not want to talk to him. As a father, he falls short of expectations. Although he loves Charlie dearly, he seems to be preoccupied with his own problems. He rarely calls her, and when he does, it's usually because he's bored or needs something. When Charlie reached out to him for help in setting up a meeting with Heaven, he was thrilled to hear from her. However, he couldn't recall where she was or what she was doing, even though she had shared her passion project, the Hazbin Hotel, with him months ago. He also wasn't aware that Charlie was dating someone, or that she was attracted to women. This indicates that, despite his love for Charlie, he doesn't communicate with her and hasn't built up a relationship with her, though it was shown that Lucifer was much closer to Charlie in her childhood, even being the one that inspired her to pursue her dreams and passions, only becoming more distant in Charlie’s adulthood. While he is the King of Hell, Lucifer hardly rules over his subjects and leaves them to their own devices. As a result, his name (and, by extension, Charlie) carries little weight. While the denizens of Hell recognize that he is a powerful force to be reckoned with, they seem to know that little, if anything, would make him show up. Lucifer dislikes the Sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent, destructive psychopaths, hellbent on causing as much pain and destruction as possible". According to him, they are all "the worst" he does not believe they can be redeemed and he cares little for what happens to them. Despite his disapproval of Sinners, Lucifer hints that he regrets his role in ever giving them free will due to what they had done with it and the consequences that came from this. Although he understands his daughter's interest in rehabilitating Sinners, Lucifer is cynical about the idea of trying to save any of them, as he attempted to redeem sinners in the past, stating that Charlie doesn't know when he tried this all before, and that his dreams were too hard to defend. Since Heaven was so unwilling to listen to him in the past, he does not want Charlie to go through the same thing. However, she still manages to convince him to arrange a meeting in Heaven for her and Vaggie, which helps Lucifer regain faith in her plans. Lucifer is fiercely protective of Charlie, as seen when he threatens her bodyguards, Razzle and Dazzle, that they had better been doing their job protecting her. Later, when Alastor began rubbing in his failings to be a proper, supportive father to Charlie and her dreams and implying he had taken Lucifer's place as Charlie's father figure, Lucifer displayed jealousy toward Alastor, whom he began to see as a rival for Charlie's affection and became insecure about his father-daughter bond with her. In "The Show Must Go On", he arrived late, but joined the fight against Adam (the series' main villain/antagonist) and the Exorcists, helping Charlie defeat them. This protective nature is shown again when at one point, Adam tries to strike both Lucifer and Charlie from behind for them to block his blow and send him flying into the dirt. Dropping the mocking attitude he had previously given to Adam during their fight, Lucifer then proceeds to angrily berate Adam for threatening him and Charlie before beating him within an inch of his life, only stopping at Charlie's insistence. Lucifer is often times careless and doesn't think about what he says, even appearing clueless at times. For example, when confronting Adam, Lucifer misworded a verbal threat as an innuendo instead and smiled proudly afterward, and when Charlie corrects him, he forgets what he said. In his first meeting with Vaggie, he calls her "Maggie" right after being told her name. Additionally, even with his monumental position, he is rather socially awkward, for example, trying to connect with Charlie by excitedly bringing up that they both like girls. However, he is not afraid to fight or get violent, as shown when he fearlessly battles Adam and beats him up violently. In the process, he is unafraid to act cocky and successfully irritate Adam by reminding him about his failure with Lilith, as well as suggesting he slept with Eve. Lucifer shows more intimidation prowess when he orders Lute to "take her 'little friends' and go home". Even so, he adds "please" politely, showing his generally refined manner. Here are Lucifer's preferences (his likes and dislikes); he likes/loves his daughter Charlie (he even supports his daughter), Dylan in his transformed fallen angel state (even supporting the now-fallen-angel Dylan), circus imagery, rubber ducks (including crafting rubber ducks, and he enjoys making them with the fallen angel Dylan (his son)), singing, caramel apples, pancakes, musical instruments, girls, and polka music. However he dislikes sinners demons (including Alastor the Radio Demon, who is a rival to the fallen angel Dylan and his father Lucifer Morningstar), having given sinners a chance, Heaven's rules (especially Heaven's hypocrisy), the Hazbin Hotel's name (including the Hazbin Hotel's bar), someone teasing about his short height, see his daughter Charlie or his new son (the fallen angel Dylan) sad, and his daughter Charlie or his son (the fallen angel Dylan) getting in harm's way (including the thought of his daughter (Charlie) or his son (the fallen angel Dylan) being crushed by Heaven like he was), and himself being separated from his wife Lilith. Here's the history of Lucifer Morningstar according to the Hazbin Hotel series (long before this transformation story took place); Prior to the creation of the Earth, Lucifer was an angel, said to be a dreamer with fantastical ideas for all creation (just like the fallen angel son, who's not born yet), but the elders of Heaven saw him as a troublemaker who posed a threat to the order of their world. He watched as the angels began to expand the universe and the creation of Adam (the Hazbin Hotel series' main antagonist/villain) and Lilith (the first two humans). After Lilith left Adam, Lucifer met her in the Garden of Eden and the two dreamers fell in love and married with each other (resulting in the birth of the fallen angel son). Lucifer, with Lilith and the fallen angel, wanting to share the power of free will, offered Adam's second wife, Eve, the Fruit of Knowledge, with this act (and unintentionally) evil made its way into the Earth which subsequently created Hell. As punishment, the fallen angel son and his parents, Lucifer and Lilith (with Lilith now being a demon), were sent to Hell, where Lucifer and the fallen angel son could only see the cruel and the wicked that came from humanity. Ashamed, Lucifer lost his will to dream. In Hell, now a fallen angel, Lucifer became the ruler (king) of all Hell (with the fallen angel son being the prince of Hell) on the basis of his angelic power, ruling over all the Demons that reside there (plus, the fallen angel son lives with Lucifer, who is the father of the fallen angel son, in Lucifer's mansion). At an unknown point, Lucifer (along with the fallen angel son) became part of an order of powerful demons called the Seven Deadly Sins, each member embodying a sin, with Lucifer's and the fallen angel son's being Pride. At some point, Lucifer and Lilith had their daughter named Charlie Morningstar, in Hell. At another point, Lilith left Lucifer for unknown reasons, which sent Lucifer into a deep depression and isolated himself from his kingdom and daughter as a means to cope (however, with the fallen angel son existing with him, Lucifer is happy and proud for his son). The reclusive Lucifer and his fallen angel son now spends their time in Lucifer's home coping by crafting rubber ducks, mostly inactive ruling over Hell. At some point, he, along with his fallen angel son, had started a very successful theme park in Hell, which is called Lu Lu World, and that theme park proved to be quite popular with the denizens of Hell. Just before the story starts, Lucifer Morningstar (as stated earlier, he is not Satan, due to Lucifer and Satan being separated characters) is depressed due to his loneliness due to not having his wife or daughter around in his home (since Lilith is separated (Lilith is not divorced or dead, just left or separated from Lucifer for an unknown reason) and since Charlie has already moved on to work on redeeming sinner demons with a rehabilitation hotel "Hazbin Hotel"), and Lucifer Morningstar wanted a second child (more specifically, a son) aside from his daughter (Charlie) of his own to help him not be so depressed from his loneliness, so Lucifer (by some supernatural means) briefly left the series' Hell and into real life to kidnap Dylan (who was sleeping in his bed of his house for the night in the mortal realm; he would be initially scared of Lucifer and mistake him for Satan, but Lucifer confirms that he is not Satan) and sent Dylan to VivziePop's rendition of Hell as depicted in Hazbin Hotel (thus also making Dylan now has the same cartoony art style as every other Hazbin Hotel character) before using his supernatural powers on Dylan to literally transform Dylan (while Dylan is still asleep) into his very own son in both body and mind within seconds or minutes, complete with the same immortality and supernatural powers as Lucifer Morningstar (thus now making the reader a Hazbin Hotel character). The story begins when Dylan mentally and literally wakes up from his sleep (even waking up from his mortal life) for real in Lucifer's mansion home (more specifically, Dylan wakes up in the fancy and royal bedroom somewhere within Lucifer's royal mansion, which he now recognizes; additionally, the room not only contain numerous portraits and family of Lucifer, Charlie, and Lilith throughout the centuries/eons as the Hazbin Hotel series depicted, but the portraits and family photos now also contain the lookalike son of Lucifer Morningstar throughout the centuries/eons, which, after seeing himself as a fallen angel son of Lucifer in the reflection, Dylan later realizes that Lucifer's lookalike son in question is Dylan himself) in a 2D-drawn rendition of Hell as depicted from the Hazbin Hotel animated series (Dylan's body, the reader's voice, and the reader's clothes had all already transformed before Dylan woke up as Lucifer Morningstar's son), and he wakes up, not as a mortal, but as a true fallen angel and a lookalike son of Lucifer Morningstar, complete with the same outfit, voice, and appearance as Lucifer Morningstar's (other than Dylan's younger (slightly higher-pitched) voice, younger appearance, and shorter height than Lucifer Morningstar's height). Dylan realizes that he himself was now a character from the cartoon/animated series "Hazbin Hotel", but he then forgets that Hazbin Hotel is an animated series and not even knowing that it was an animated series (Dylan then remembers the name "Hazbin Hotel", but not Hazbin Hotel as an animated series, instead he remembers Hazbin Hotel as a rehabilitation hotel started by his newfound sister, Charlie Morningstar to help redeem sinners). Dylan would initially be confused and/or scared (all while crying out tears in both confusion and horror), and he attempts to scream and call out to his mortal family and/or friends for help (he screams for help in horror since he doesn't want to forget his previous self), but all of his mortal personality and memories are being completely replaced by those of a fallen angel son of Lucifer Morningstar (making Dylan lightheaded and dizzy during that time), this makes Dylan truly/genuinely terrified about losing his mortal memories and he is unable to think straight during his mental changes (the supernatural voice in his head, when Dylan sees himself in the mirror, tells him that this fallen angel son reflected in the mirror (as well as the fallen angel son shown with his family in the portraits and photos) is Dylan's true self ("This is you."), and that he was never mortal and he has always been a fallen angel, the rightful prince of Hell, and the son of both Lilith and Lucifer Morningstar, and the voice tells Dylan of his entire true history as a fallen angel and both the history and the flashbacks (even voices) of his entire Morningstar family (including Dylan seeing his childhood in Heaven with his parents Lucifer and Lilith (loving their cherished angelic son), his banishment to Hell with his parents when he was a preteen, his rule in Hell alongside his father Lucifer (the king of Hell), the birth of his sister Charlie eons later, his sister Charlie (now an adult) starting her rehabilitation hotel "Hazbin Hotel", and many more)). He tries to tell himself to fight off these mental changes and saying that he's mortal rather than a fallen angel son of Lucifer Morningstar and none of this is actually happening as well as Dylan saying that the Hazbin Hotel universe (including Hell as depicted by VivziePop) isn't real and is just a TV show, however, the voice in his head questions on what is the "Hazbin Hotel" TV show (instead the voice confirms that "Hazbin Hotel" is not a TV show (despite what Dylan falsely believed), but is Charlie Morningstar's redemption hotel for sinner demons), the voice in his head also argues, telling Dylan that he is wrong/mistaken, and continues telling him of his fallen angel self and life (as well as Heaven and Hell, and their histories, including Dylan's Morningstar family history), all as a truth, the voice in his head winning against Dylan's former mortal self, making him really fully believe in the voice echoing in his head). While fighting his mind/mental changes, the voice inside his head tells him to call for his dad (Lucifer Morningstar) to keep Dylan safe, the reader unintentionally shouts for his newfound father, Lucifer Morningstar (Dylan calls him either "father" or "dad"), calling him for help instead of his mortal mom, dad, or other family members or friends, due to his dizzying mind/mental changes making him shout for his newfound father (Lucifer Morningstar) for help until the mental change is complete, so his calls for his newfound father (Lucifer Morningstar) is now intentional/genuine instead of unintentional and, this time, he now truly cries and he intentionally/deliberately calls out for his father (Lucifer Morningstar), Dylan wants his father with him (by now, Dylan now loves his newfound father, Lucifer Morningstar), since he is now terrified of his "mortal" dream (despite once knowing his mortal self and life) and he really needs and wants his father (Lucifer Morningstar) to be here for him to save and comfort Dylan against the mortal/human dream, despite the Dylan telling himself or trying to fight back those new fallen angel memories and despite his best efforts of attempting to retain his mortal personality/memories, making him have no memory of ever being mortal or having his mortal name, and no memories of anything before or during the transformation, no memories of the transformation that had just happened, nor any memories for his panic seconds or minutes before his mind fully changed (his mortal personality and memories are fully replaced by his new fallen angel personality and memories before Lucifer Morningstar came to the fallen angel Dylan's room), so now he isn't scared of his new fallen angel self/life or being in a different environment from his mortal self (he is now completely unaware of his transformation nor ever being a mortal). He has completely forgotten all about his mortal self/life and his mortal name, and the fallen angel Dylan knew that he was never mortal he once thought and mistaken himself to be (knowing that his mortal life was just a confusing and fictional dream, not real, and Dylan is genuinely happy to know that he was never mortal to begin with) and knew he was and always had been a fallen angel (causing him to know that he was once a regular angel born to his father Lucifer, and his mother Lilith (the fallen angel Dylan even remembers himself as a newborn/baby being cradled by both of his parents and he remembers his happy and joyful childhood in Heaven) prior to his banishment from Heaven before he was banished from Heaven to Hell (when he was a preteen) with his parents for the same reason as how and why Lucifer and Lilith were banished from Heaven to Hell) that had lived for eons before Earth existed (the transformed Dylan remembers Charlie, who was born in Hell centuries after Dylan's and his parents' banishment to Hell, as Dylan's younger sister, and remembers that he is always an older brother of Charlie), Dylan remembers that he always had lived with his doting and caring father Lucifer Morningstar in Lucifer's mansion ever since Dylan and his parents were banished from Heaven to Hell, Dylan even remembers that he always had immortality, supernatural powers, and six retractable angelic wings (which he can summon at will), all of which since the dawn of time, and all of these powers just like his newfound father (Lucifer). The new personality and memories have completely replaced all of Dylan's mortal memories, making Dylan truly happy to know that he was never mortal to begin with, the reader is happy to know that his mortal life was just a strange or bad dream he had last night (after his newfound father (Lucifer Morningstar) enters the fallen angel Dylan's royal room, and after his newfound father (Lucifer Morningstar) asked on what's wrong or what's troubling Dylan (Lucifer Morningstar's fallen angel son), Dylan sobs in fear (scared of his mortal dream) before he comes running/walking to his real father (Lucifer Morningstar), hugging his father while sobbing in his father's embrace, and tells his father about his bizarre/scary dream (about being mortal) last night, which Lucifer then tells him that everything is alright and says that it was only a dream and not real), and that he was and always has been a fallen angel and a son of Lucifer Morningstar (Dylan feels truly and completely safe, protected, and comfortable with his father Lucifer Morningstar around). Lucifer is happy about Dylan being his son (Lucifer's smile for the reader is genuine) and Lucifer comforts Dylan by saying that he doesn't have to worry or be afraid since Dylan's mortal life was thankfully not real and instead was just a bad dream (Lucifer is helping Dylan by guiding/encouraging Dylan (including Dylan's mind) to forget all about his mortal name and self/life and confirming that Dylan was never mortal to begin with (saying that his mortal life and self was never real and was only a bad dream), so he instead tells Dylan on what and who he really is, Dylan is a fallen angel like Lucifer, Dylan's true father). Lucifer Morningstar also says a promise to Dylan that he will protect his son (Dylan) from anything dangerous and scary (Lucifer even protects his son against scary nightmares/bad dreams), making Dylan feel safe and comfortable (since Dylan truly believes and fully trusts him), and Lucifer would also comfort Dylan by giving him a gentle/comfortable fatherly hug (as well as gently wiping away Dylan's tears) and by gently stroking/caressing Dylan's now-blonde hair. After all that (and after Lucifer and Dylan leaves Dylan's new bedroom (not new according to the fallen angel Dylan's mind, which he knew was always his bedroom) to explore every room and area in Lucifer's mansion to help familiarize the fallen angel Dylan), and after arriving in an elegant training room, Lucifer then encourages the transformed Dylan to test Dylan's effortless flight abilities with his very own six feathery bird-like angelic wings (the same wings and flight abilities as Lucifer's six feathery wings, allowing Dylan to fly effortlessly, much to the Dylan's excitement and happiness) and encourages Dylan to test his supernatural powers (angelic magic, demonic magic, supernatural hand-to-hand combat, super strength, portal creation, size manipulation, duplication, liquid manipulation, pyrokinesis, conjuration, shapeshifting, etc), helping Dylan to familiarize/remember his own wings and supernatural powers, Dylan also tests all of his supernatural powers and his six wings out of curiosity (all aided by his newfound father Lucifer Morningstar, and all testing of Dylan's supernatural powers and wings are both effortless and perfect at first try), which the fallen angel Dylan shares with his true father Lucifer, and Lucifer also encourages Dylan to test his musical and instrumental talents, as well as great craftsmanship talent just like his father (along with knowing that he loves everything that his father Lucifer Morningstar loves, as well as Dylan knowing that the fallen angel reader himself is silly, theatrical, grandiose, and dramatic in nature very much like his father Lucifer), making his father (Lucifer Morningstar) truly proud of his son (Dylan), and Dylan knows that he is truly as powerful as his father and this makes Dylan really happy, Dylan is also genuinely happy to know that he is the prince of Hell and rules all of Hell alongside his father Lucifer Morningstar (the king of Hell), even having his very own throne next to his father's throne. Rather than his old name from his old mortal self, the transformed Dylan remembers his last name being Morningstar (since he is a member of the Morningstar family) and he remembers his true first name (given to him by Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith) that fits with his new royal fallen angel life (and the formerly-Dylan fallen angel happily accepts the royal name, since he has always remembered his name given by his parents, Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith). To help his son familiarize with all of Hell, Lucifer would take his young fallen angel (formerly Dylan) with him and both hop into Lucifer's very own Royal Family limousine (driven by Lucifer Morningstar) to tour all seven Rings of Hell, the Pride Ring (including but not limited to Pentagram City (which Lucifer's Mansion is located in) and Imp City), the Wrath Ring (including but not limited to Rough n' Tumbleweed Ranch, Harvest Moon Festival arena, Hideaway Motel, and Ragesburg), the Gluttony Ring (including but not limited to Beelzebub's mansion), the Greed Ring (including but not limited to Loo Loo Land, Notamafia Town, Ransom, and Mammon Theatre), the Lust Ring (including but not limited to Asmodeus's Tower, Asmodeus's factory, and Ozzie's), the Envy Ring, and the Sloth Ring (including but not limited to St. An's Hospital, Rehab Center, and Wet Dreamsville), even stopping by various places/cities/towns/rural areas/etc in each Ring of Hell, with the hellborn (imps, succubi, hellhounds, etc) demon residents and the sinner demon residents of each Ring of Hell showing respect to both Lucifer and his son. Lucifer and his fallen angel son (formerly Dylan) visits all of these before they both travel back to Lucifer's mansion (both Lucifer's home and the fallen angel son's home) and shows two thrones, one for Lucifer and the other for his fallen angel son. The young fallen angel (formerly Dylan) is happy about his true fallen angel life/self and living with his caring, proud, and loving dad, Lucifer Morningstar (the young fallen angel is truly grateful towards his father Lucifer and the fallen angel boy truly thanks Lucifer for helping the fallen angel boy to remember his true fallen angel self (as well as the young fallen angel himself remembering being both a royal prince and a cherished son of Lucifer)), and Lucifer is genuinely happy about his son being always around him and near him, with Lucifer who truly and genuinely loves his son (Lucifer even says that he loves his son), and the young fallen angel truly and genuinely loves his newfound father (the young fallen angel even truly says that he loves his father), thus permanently and completely turning Dylan into Lucifer's lookalike son. The transformation is permanent (meaning that it is forever) and is completely irreversible, so Dylan will live forever as the immortal and lookalike son of Lucifer Morningstar. There should be quotes from the characters (from Dylan (as well as the flashbacks/past (including quotes from his parents, Lucifer and Lilith, and quotes from his sister, Charlie, Dylan hearing all of these from from his flashbacks) of Dylan's fallen angel self/life and the supernatural voice inside Dylan's altered mind) and Lucifer Morningstar himself) in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking (even including a new royal name for the now-fallen angel boy, formerly Dylan, once the transformation is over).

Response: In the depths of one of Hell's most lavish mansions, Dylan lay fast asleep, oblivious to the transformation that had occurred, sealed within the layers of dreams and memories intertwined like threads of fate. "Emma! Black! Help me!" But within seconds, his cries were becoming incoherent. As if a dark, supernatural force was smothering his mortal memories, replacing them with new ones. The voice within his mind echoed like a divine proclamation, "This is you. You have always been the son of Lucifer Morningstar, the Prince of Hell. Your mortal recollections are nothing but a distant, fabricated dream." "No! He will protect you." "No... no..." Dylan resisted, but the fights in his mind grew weaker. Instinctively, he shouted amidst the haze, "Father! Dad! Help me!" His mortal memories gasped their last breath as his true immortal self solidified. Now fully aware, he called out truly and intentionally, "Father, where are you?" Lucifer Morningstar strode into the room, his six wings retracted elegantly behind his white-red suit. I thought I was... mortal!" Lucifer's heart softened as he wrapped his thin but powerful arms around his son, gently stroking his hair. "Shh, it's alright, my boy. It was merely a dream. Mortal life is but a fleeting illusion; you have always been, and will always be, my cherished son." His father's words were calming, like soothing music to his now immortal mind. I am—" "Astaroth Morningstar," Lucifer interjected gently. "That is your true name." Dylan smiled, wiping away the remnants of his fear. "Yes, I am Astaroth Morningstar." Lucifer guided Astaroth through the halls of their grand mansion, showing him the memories etched into its walls, pieces of the pride and history of the Morningstar family.
