Nightmare at Dylanusland

Prompt: Write the parody of Micheal Jackson's Thriller, featuring Dylan the Dylanus (the original character made by the Deviantart user Dylan613) and Emma (Dylan's girlfriend) as the victims (and main protagonists) and both Black (Dylan's brother) and Jessica being the main singers (and zombies) of this short film, with this film being titled "Dylan the Thriller Dylanus". For Dylan's appearance, he is a 4.9 foot tall, 15 year old boy who has a lean build for his size, tan skin, medium-length brown hair (that reaches his chin, although not covering his face at all), and has green irises. He wears a dark blue hoodie, a lighter blue t-shirt underneath, and cyan wear jeans. He also has white socks underneath his black tennis shoes, which have an x-shaped gray marking on each of his shoes' tongue. For Dylan's personality, he is a kind, considerate, smart, and understanding character, who is a love interest to Emma (his affectionate and understanding girlfriend) and is playful around his smarter, slightly older brother Black. Despite his small frame and being a teen, he goes in the way to protect his homeland (Dylanusland, a tropical, subtropical, and temperate island country in the Pacific Ocean on Earth) against various villains and monsters (always successful, even if some are more difficult than others). Despite these traits, he does have some flaws, such as his intolerance to swearing (which aren't present in his homeland, and he gets offended by swear words and he never swears at all, not saying any of the bad words, not even one time, and he does not saying even the mildest swear words (he would never say any actual bad language); for example, instead of saying an f-bomb word, Dylan says "meatsticks". He is also quite weak without superpowers (which he actually does not have and only obtains them when using special devices), and has fear of vampires and demons alike since he views them as nothing more than pure evil monsters. Here is the plot for this short film; Dylan's old friends from his home in (located in northwestern Dylanusland) and new friends from the city of Blueside (located in southeastern Dylanusland) are among the crowd that come to the Great Dylanusland Theater to watch a spooky musical, in which Lilly is approached by talking vegetables (which are just actors), including one played by Maximus, and (just part of the show) turned into a giant watermelon by mad scientists Jessica and Black. They sing Thriller all throughout, as the show ends with the audience cheering. After the show, Dylan's troupe invites him to John Collins's Halloween party, which Dylan accepts. As he prepares to leave, he gets distracted by a news broadcast discussing a laboratory that has been destroyed in a mysterious explosion. He then flinches as several pumpkins fall from a shelf, and one hits him on the head before Jessica reminds him to come with them. On their way to John's house in Dinosauria's truck, they are stopped by an officer who informs them that the road is closed due to an explosion and leak at the science lab. Jessica asks if anyone is hurt, but the officer assures her everyone has been safely evacuated. Dylan asks about the flood of glowing pink-and-blue ooze that has been sectioned off in front of them, but the officer knows nothing about it. As the troupe drives off, the officer steps in some of the ooze, and his eyes start glowing with light blue and light purple swirls as he goes into a trance. When the troupe arrives to the party, they find the place is well-decorated, but no one else is around, and the ooze can be seen spreading through the property. Jessica excitedly rings John's doorbell, but he doesn't answer, and all the lights suddenly go out, creating an uneasy atmosphere. Black and Maximus convince everyone that they are just being pranked, but when Jessica looks through John's door's mail slot to try to find him, she is suddenly met with his glowing eyes (which are light blue and light purple swirls). The troupe jumps back in shock, and everyone except Dylan and Emma come into contact with the ooze. The other party guests (humans, dylanuses, cat-people, humanoid turtles, giant rat-men, large humanoid birds, and many other civilized inhabitants of Dylanusland) come out, also in a zombie-like state with glowing eyes (with light blue and light purple swirls, like all other party guests who got into contact with the ooze). John, Lilly, Jessica, Black, and Maximus become afflicted as well, and Dylan and Emma watch in fear (with Emma screaming) as everyone sings and dances to Thriller. They run as the zombies begin to chase them, and escape onto a canoe and paddle away from the house. Dylan, relieved, deems them safe, when Shin Godzilla (with its eyes glowing due to Shin Godzilla having been afflicted by the ooze) suddenly come out of the water and prepare to slam down on the two. These events are revealed to have just been a dream, as Dylan wakes up screaming, back in the theater. Emma says he must have hit his head, and asks if he is well enough to go to John's party. Happy to have woken up from his nightmare, Dylan races to meet everyone else and go. However, as Emma turns off the lights, her eyes glow and she walks away in a trance as a cockroach with glowing eyes appears nearby giving an evil laugh before falling off of his jack-o-lantern. There should also be quotes from the characters in this story so we know what they're saying and what they're thinking. There should also be lyrics to the song Thriller in this parody, one for the Great Dylanusland Theater beginning of this short film and the other during the zombie dance part of this short film, being the same lyrics as Michael Jackson's version of Thriller. This short film would be rated PG for mild peril and some scary imagery.
