Ethan, now completely Carla, had fully embraced her new identity. There was no turning back as Carla continued her day without an inkling of who she once was. She left the store with her groceries and alcohol, ready to prepare the fiesta she believed her new family deserved. Every bit of her previous life was forgotten, lost in the transformation that left not a trace of the five-year-old boy she had been.
Carla continued to live her life, adapting effortlessly to her new surroundings. The world around her recognized her as Carla Martinez, a thorough picture of the vibrant Mexican culture she now embodied. She returned home to her family, including a clueless Jessica who couldn't fathom what had happened to her beloved son. The memories of being Ethan were nothing but a distant echo, forever lost in the identity wipe that had reshaped her existence.
And so, life went on, seamless yet starkly different for everyone involved, most especially for Carla, who now embraced life in its entirety from a perspective she could never have imagined.
